Holiday Inn Express Chicago NW - Arlington Heights by IHG

We were disappointed. We didn’t have hot water to take showers before we headed out. There was an issue with the water heater. Secondly the wifi service was awful and unstable.

The air conditioning was not cool. We woke up one morning to no hot water. When I tried to call the desk the phone did not work

Hotel is in a decent area within 15 min from airport and most dining or shopping needs.

It was very clean.

Breakfast was the standard fare. Eggs/sausage/biscuit & gravy, and a pancake machine, which was a nice touch. The coffee machine in the breakfast area brews from freshly-ground beans one cup at a time. It's slower than siphoning pre-brewed coffee from a carafe, but tastes a LOT better and was worth the wait. The warm cinnamon rolls were unexpected and yummy. Would have liked see yogurt among the healthy offerings, and the fresh fruit option (apples only during our stay) was not-so-fresh. Every apple in the bowl was badly bruised, and one of them definitely appeared to have gone bad, which was unappetizing.

It’s a little dated and shabby but generally clean and the staff were helpful. Not really a walkable area though so limited options for food.

Good hotel!!

No shuttle even though site says so. Very disappointing, had to uber a lot!

The facility shuttle was wrecked at the beginning of April and will probably not be replaced which is a handicap because of the hotel close proximity to the airport.

This is a great hotel. Friendly Staff and very clean and quiet property to stay. I stayed 2 nights and it was pleasure stay. Peaceful and delicious breakfast in the morning.

Helpful front desk staff. Good breakfast except for the pancakes machine was out of order during our stay.

Helpful staff (front desk), good breakfast, nice and safe location. Housekeeping could be better.

Glad they are making upgrades we will stay there again

Staff did not change to new towels after 1st stay.

It's you standard Holiday Inn. What is great is its proximity to other things and the highway. It's also relatively quiet in that area too.

The room was clean. Breakfast was delicious and really loved the location.
