Front desk was professional, attentive, polite and very helpful. Lobby and our room were clean and orderly.

This hotel definitely saw better days. My room smelled like mold, the staircases were very unsafe, dirty, no carpet. The elevator from the parking garage didn't work, but the hotel was kind enough to not charge for parking to make up for it.

We definitely enjoyed our stay and we will be returning soon.

Room was clean, comfy, check-in was quick and easy, I will say we didn’t have to deal with any parking so I don’t know what the situation was there. Room service was slower than I’d like, but the food was great. Overall I’d recommend it. Not far from all the sights in D.C.

Please think twice about going here if you are an airport traveler. The shuttle service is absurd (we waited one hour and twenty minutes). We only chose this hotel cause it was close and with a shuttle and because I stayed at the Sheraton in Crystal City and it was great. This one is not. Guests go there to party and make lots of noise. We did not sleep at all and would never step into this Sheraton again.

Carpets were dingy. Room has an odd odor when the AC was on so we kept it off. Only stayed here on night due to flight cancellation. Free breakfast included personalized omelette so that was good. Staff was nice and it did have a free shuttle to/from DCA

Clean, good hospitality

However, Sou Chef Javon was outstanding. He saw us trying to get our luggage in and he grabbed our bags and took them to our room and later returned with bottles of cold water to ensure we felt welcome. He deserves a raise. Ashley at the check-in desk was very kind.

As usual we go to check in and everything was fine. A young man named Amier checked us in & everything was great. We went to the garage to park the car & gather our luggage to head to the room & imagine our surprise when the elevator was out of service. We were NOT told this upon checking in. There were no signs as to were to go. We had to search the garage for the stairs. My husband carried the luggage but we had other bags that were not light that I had to carry up 2 flights of stairs. Later that day when seeing Amier I asked why he did not let us know about the elevator he shrugged his shoulders and said my bad & kept doing his paperwork. I don't believe for 1 minute that he felt bad or really was sorry in any way. We have stayed at this hotel for years coming to that area. I spoke to Arya upon check out & told her everything she assured me that her supervisor Michelle would be calling me. Well that never happened. I was also told that I was not the only person that Amier did not tell about the elevator. There are pleanty of hotels in that area & it looks like we will have to find another one to stay at. As I certainly understand a hotel being under construction, it was the attitude of Amier that was my disappointment in the hotel. Also the fact that I could not get the chance to speak with his supervisor at some point.
