The hotel was a little run down however it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The breakfast bar was the highlight. The staff was overall really helpful and friendly. Renovations were supposed to happen next year. It was realivity close to Atlanta stadium within walking distance to most stuff downtown. I wasn't expecting 25 a night on check in or the fifty dollars holding fee was a bit much.

I cannot believe we ended up being overcharged for this hotel. We were obviously victims of the price gouging that happened after World Cup tickets were secured. We looked at hotels as soon as we booked our tickets. This was most affordable at the time and a price I would usually not pay (especially for a low end hotel) - $375 one night and $306 for the other. Of course, hotel rates dropped to $175/night after a nonrefundable rate was booked. We were unable to do the price comparison feature of hotels.com. It kept coming back with an error across 2 devices and 2 browsers. Hmmmm. What's up with that? I was very upset when we checked in. The carpet was torn when we opened the door. We found a bug on the bed and killed that. We put things away and then some clothes got wet in the closet due to a leak. The bathroom needed to be swept. We treated it like "camping" inside and wore our flip flops in the shower. We had an ADA room (not requested but fine) and there was no tub so we did not want our feet on the floor. Some staff were okay (women) but another staff that worked was not very friendly or helpful during our interactions or interactions observed with others. We asked if the wifi password changed on our 2nd day because it would not work for either of us. The reply was a shrug and "must not be working." I could not wait to check out of this place from the moment we checked in and I'm still fuming over paying more than $800 to stay here. And, bar soap for the shower.

The lamps at the night stand are all rusted. Also I paid when I make the reservation and they charged me again. I tried to call but couldn’t talk to anybody.

Location The blanket was dirty. Had some dry stains . I don’t want to know of what. On a World Cup game morning , they ran out of food at the breakfast “buffet “, when asked at the front desk the lady answer with bad manners that they were doing their best and that they were not expecting so many guests and only one person was on a small kitchen (and that person did not look in any rush).

    Good

Has its good and bad. Was decent price, especially where it’s located. Felt like a safe area with the “No Loitering “ signs, but a homeless guy caught me on way out the door anyway. Very large room, but the bathroom was about as small as one I’ve ever seen. Could literally wash your hand in sink while sitting on toilet. Bed was comfortable. The carpet was wrinkled up bad. Breakfast was pretty good.

    Exceptional

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of choices. The quietness of the elevator actually made me think it wasn’t moving when it was. Even with an upset toddler with us most of the night, other guests and staff were understanding. This led to less stressful situations for myself. The awkwardness of the room furniture is probably one of my only complaints. The coffee table needing to be moved to have the pullout couch out was the only thing that made it awkward. And there was only one USB charging port in the room next to the TV. But this is mostly on myself because I didn’t think to bring a wall adapter for my charging cords. But in most hotels that I’ve been to they have one or two on each lamp or what have you next to the bed.

With the exception of the Air flow in the elevators, the stay was what we expected. We use this hotel periodically as it is close to the Campus.
