I only chose this specific Hampton Inn location because of the good reviews but we were not impressed. Usually, we can count on Hampton Inns to be pretty reliable as far as being the same from location to location but this one...not our fave. The rooms were in bad shape...bathrooms had peeling paint on the doors and what looked to be water damage, the drain was moldy, no soap at all in the bathroom (for handwashing at the sink), the room was so damp with humidity that the chair next to the a/c was moist to sit in. It just looked like the whole room needed an overhaul...it's definitely showing it's age. At breakfast (we arrived at 9:40...20 minutes before closing) there was a label for grits but no grits to be seen. There were four cereal choices but no milk to be seen. The hot plates usually will have salsa and shredded cheese on the side to add to the eggs but that was missing too. Both apple and oranage juices were "out of order" so there was water as a choice and what said "lemon infused water"...it was lemonade-not lemon infused water...there's a difference. Breakfast was a big dissapointment! We looked at the back of our door to find the check out time and it said noon. We checked out at the desk a few minutes before noon and the person at the desk was rude to us and said, "Checkout is at 11"...well, the door said 12 so we were going with that! Just not the best Hampton Inn experience...pretty disappointing.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the housekeeping worked very hard and were consistent in keeping the rooms clean. I would give the hotel 10 stars if I could. I'll be staying here again when we come back to this area!

Hot breakfast every morning. They kept the hallways and lobby clean at all times. We had no issues during our stay.

It smelt the rooms were awful. The carpet was bad and they smell wet molded. The curtains were so nasty that I wouldn’t even touch them very dissatisfied.

Air conditioning was loud. Emergency light in elevator was ducted tape over. The Staff was very good.

On my most recent stay, however, I had to change rooms two times due to the A/C not working in the first room and a broken toilet in the second room. The front desk staff was very accommodating and quick to locate another room(s). The hotel is in need of some routine maintenance. The carpeting, bathrooms, A/C units and parking lot are showing some wear and tear.

Not sure who the owner is or if he is a new owner but he is very rude and unprofessional. The owner tried to charge me for my reservation before check in time which was at 3pm. Upon calling and speaking with owner he stated it was policy, however I had booked at this hotel over 5 times and not one time had I been charged for my reservation BEFORE checking in. I tried explaining this to the owner but he kept being rude telling me it was policy to the point I ended my reservation with them early because I did not like his customer service.
