La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Austin Oltorf

Eric the manager was amazing, as well as the security guard. Very friendly and helpful staff. The property is dated but clean. Right next to a an also very good Mexican restaurant. It’s Austin so a lot of homeless in the area.

Booked the room for my brother who was having surgery. He needed to stay an additional night. The Staff was very helpful, and was able to do everything over the phone.

Great front desk people. Good food. My room was inside and I felt really safe

Centrally located. Close to S congress- minutes from downtown…

Convenient to freeway exit. Older building. New wood floors handicap accessible room. Small bathroom.

Eric was extremely helpful & accommodating. Model employee!! Made sure everything was ok during my stay.

The staff there was great, the front desk manager was super helpful house keepers were great everyone was happy, working, and friendly. The place was super clean and breakfast was good. Location is sketchy but the property is secure at night. The building needs updated but that's not anything the employees can do. The owner needs to invest in a remodel.

Honestly this hotel is in the worst possible place. We pulled up late at night and there were homeless people everywhere. We witnessed people doing drugs and a lady on the street corner begging for food. It was terrible. The room doors open to the outside so I absolutely did not feel safe staying there with my daughter. I contacted the hotel by phone to tell them we were cancelling because of the situation and they refused to give us our money back. We did NOT stay there and we went down the road and found a better location and stayed in a different La Quinta Inn. You would think because we continued to stay in the same hotel chain that they would refund our money but absolutely not the case. So, I paid for two different hotels in two different locations for the same nights.

N/A Property was pricey, in a bad area and not well kept. Breakfast terrible and there was an active construction going on within the property causing noises and unable to relax.

Hotel room was clean and staff was friendly. Surrounding area is not suitable for families.

Facility is dirty, however, inside room is clean. Staffs are helpful. Breakfast is horrible. Ppl next room and around were so loud. We couldn’t sleep at all. The hotel is at a busy intersection. We could hear cars passing by all night long.

The door to my room was missing part of the door facing, which means that the lock was actually exposed and not secure. A swift kick to my door would have opened it. These outside stairs going down from the second floor to the first had wire doors or gates at the ground floor. One of those gates was missing the hardware to open it. If I had gone down that staircase because of a fire, I would’ve been trapped at the bottom.

Property was clean. Good sized room. Comfortable bed and pillows. There was self parking and a security guard. Neighborhood was OK but not the best. Breakfast was good.

Great property, was looking forward to an extended stay while I collect enough paychecks to verify income for an apartment. Staff was all cool, I even asked for a job application. But I was accused of smoking in the room when that didn't happen. Was denied a room on my birthday at 2AM for this reason. Would love to clear this up and would have no problem removing my review. Being accused of smoking in my room when I did not do that was kind of a bummer.

Superior location. Had security, felt safe! Staff and security were super friendly! Dated, but it was under construction. I’m sure I you ll be better after.

Location and the room. Nothing that could have changed. Only one way in but I understand why.
