Best Western Plus Hotel & Conference Center

I liked the location and the breakfast The staff was not friendly our first day I was told if I checked in early if room was as ready there would be a $25 fee but they told my mom something different . We asked for info about transportation to the harbor and it would have been nice to have the shuttle times listed on the link they send or posted outside . We weren’t told we had to book the shuttle at first and stood outside . Mustafa was told to drive us and he seemed annoyed . He smelled heavily of smoke and was not courteous instead he talked on his phone for the whole ride in another language to someone . Our other encounters we had were with Tracy and he was nice but the shuttles are never on time and you will be waiting a while . The beds were comfy but not the sofa bed and the pillows felt like the stuffing was broken up into balls . Everyone had stiff necks . The air conditioning shuts off around 1ish every morning and you will wake up sweating . Do not eat at the restaurant it’s awful and slow service . The pool was nasty the first day w a slimey film on top and the roof is falling in . Hot tub is not working but you can sit in the warm water . We were told first night that maintenance would come up to fix fridge and after waiting over 30 min we call again to be asked if we called and that there is no maintenance there but they would send security up . Any time you complain you are just told “I’m sorry I understand ‘ there are signs outside for no vaping or smoking and there are designated areas . My mom and I have asthma and she also has a severe respiratory disease . A guy was smoking and she asked him to move and he refused . Tracey the security guard told the guy as well and the man said he basically lives here and ignored him . It was frustrating to wait for the transit while having to breathe in smoke .

The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very nice. The shower was disappointing. The tub did not drain at all. The facilities need some uplifting and modernization.

Breakfast was great the pool was nver open had to ask for a key took an hour pool was dirty needs updates I have pictures pool area very dangerous

Awesome just fix pool area bad ceiling falling, and Paul was supposed to be open but it took him 2 hours to open it.

Overall facilities Limited access to public transport

Good food selection, especially for someone who needs to eat gluten-free. Loved the yogurt!

Coffee maker didn’t work. Parking passes were not needed.

It was nice. Staff was friendly

The place was fine , I was annoyed that I had to wait so long for the elevator, my room was on 10th floor. There was a fright fest during my stay and people participating were holding the elevators for a long time .

Comedy Club

I received a room with a floor that was soaking wet the whole weekend and I didn't received any discount for my stay .was uncomfortable I had my 2 kids with me as well ..every time we used the shower the hallway rug got soaking wet and the bathroom was dry smh .I let the front desk know and they told me they would notify management did not contact me .I'm very disappointed of the outcome .

It was a clean ,friendly place , had a bar and prices very reasonable ,the complimentary breakfast was awesome , had a lot more food than other places ,did not have to get out till noon

Staff was very helpful and responsive. When we arrived it was cool in the room so my wife turned on the unit and just got cold air. We called maintenance and they were there in minutes to get the unit up and running. 20 minutes later we are good. Great service with a smile...

Superb

Excellent place to stay. Great complimentary breakfast, nice large parking lots for vehicles with trailers. Clean rooms, fast check in. Could not be happier. Excellent rates as well

Everything was great for our stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone. They even have a kitty!
