First, the room looked nothing like what I had booked! There was supposed to be a separate area for the pullout bed. Since someone in the group snores, that is majn reason for booking this room. So that person worried about that all weekend. I requested a rollaway bed but didn’t have that either. Good thing one person didn’t come with. Second, the bathroom door didn’t lock, there were limited towels(good thing I brought extra from home), trim pulling away from wall. For being newly renovated, you couldn’t tell in the room. Kids were freaked out by what looked like blood on the comforter. Need to do a little better with cleaning!

The Fairfield Inn is off the highway so it's a lot quieter than others nearby. Hotel is very clean. Nice breakfast area with good choices of cereals and you have the option to make hot waffles. The coffee was always hot and always ready in the lobby. We will stay here on our next trip to Bloomington. Good choice of restaurants nearby and a super Walmart in case you forgot anything.
