Hampton Inn & Suites Austin South/Buda

The room was okay. Seems like it had a musky smell, and the carpet may have been wet. Stay was fabulous!

Have always felt Hampton Inns were a safe choice. This one is definitely showing its age. The original room we were assigned smelled so musty that we turned around and went back to check in asking for a different room. The second wasn’t much better. The next morning a roach crawled out of a crack in the shower tile during my shower. Luggage smelled moldy for days after the stay. Place is in desperate need of a renovation.

Staff were very friendly and the location was close to food, shopping and other amenities. The breakfast buffet was smaller than some hotels I’ve stayed at but items were fresh and had some changes in the available options over the three days I stayed which helped it not get repetitive. The a/c unit in the room had a very loud clicking noise when it was running that made it difficult to sleep with it being on and too hot to sleep without it. The interior handle on the bathroom door was seized up and could barely operate to the point my 12 year old son and I just left the door cracked instead. The tv in room would turn on but the controller did not seem to connect properly but that could’ve been operator error as well to be honest.

I ordered the room after a night of drinking to keep from driving or sleeping in my car only to find out I wasn’t allowed to check in til 3pm Sunday. It was about midnight when I purchased the room and the front desk lady was not very nice to us. The front desk lady

Great room with cold A/C! Beds are very comfy. Cynthia and Anthony at the front desk are very helpful and got us everything we needed and helped with dinner suggestions. The daily breakfast was hot and yummy and had options for everyone.

The room was dirty, toilet was clogged and i woke up with bug bites on my legs. When i went to the bathroom in the morning cockroaches scattered when o turned in the light. The worst Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed in. The entire hotel smelled like chemicals.

The place is way overdue for renovation. Carpet was ripped stains shower was stained. Run down property. Wont stay there again. The room smelled musty!!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Everything was very good in all aspects, including the cleanliness, service, comfort, and overall atmosphere. Free parking was very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was well maintained. I also really appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which was a great added benefit and made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I had a very good experience and would be happy to stay here again.

Beds were not as comfortable as usual but breakfast was great. Also great location although with the highway construction makes it a little difficult to get into Austin

Great room! Friendly people.

First room the shower faucet wouldn't stay in place and kept falling so the water was scaulding. Also, our air conditioner leaked making the carpet wet, then stopped working. Moved to another room and the bathroom floor tile was broken and hazardous. The rooms were cleaned, just in need of repairs.

It was convenient to the highway for us to travel upon the next morning. The bed was very uncomfortable. Also the room had a stale smell.
