Pool was closed

Cleanliness and staff service was good Everytime I leave out and come back in I had go back down to the front desk to reprogram my key 3 times a day.

First, the pool was not operational, which was an amenity we were looking forward to using. However, the most concerning issue was the condition of the guest rooms. We discovered roaches in our room and personally killed two bugs during our stay. At that point, we felt uncomfortable remaining at the hotel and decided it was best to check out early. We brought this matter to the attention of a staff member named Twon and even showed him a photo of one of the bugs. His response was, "Yeah, we have an issue with bugs." Hearing a staff member openly acknowledge an ongoing pest problem was both shocking and alarming. My question is simple: If management is aware that the hotel has a roach infestation, why is the property still operating and accepting reservations? Guests should not be paying to stay in rooms with known pest issues. This experience fell far below the standards I have come to expect from IHG. I hope immediate action is taken to address these conditions and prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

The location was half way to Disney There was a living cock roach in our room on the 4th floor when we arrived.

The pool was down for maintenance during my stay but other than that, no issues. My room was right next to the kitchen and they notified me of this before I accepted the room. While it was noisier than any other room would’ve been, I did not mind.

Exceptional

Nothing the first day my sister clean because the floor ; bathroom and little fridge are very dirty.i don't recommend the people for my experience.we have to much problems with the key .Have a good day

Very clean and nice hospitality and very good complimentary breakfast would definitely stay again if in town.

Was a good place to stay but 2 mornings in a row I went down for breakfast and when returning to my room on the 4th floor my room key didn’t work. Then I had to wait for the elevator to go back downstairs to get it rekeyed. Which took forever because there’s only 1 elevator.

Asked the front desk for another roll of toilet paper and was asked to come get it, told them no, so they brought it down. Did I disclose these issues to the staff, no, because I was told they were sold out and so we would not have been able to move to another room. I’ve stayed at plenty of Holiday Inns and THIS was by far the WORST. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN. Disgusting!!!!

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good. Pretty standard but they had good options and they kept it stocked. The air conditioning in the room kept cutting off throughout the night and I would wake up hot and have to turn it back on. The pool was shut down and wasn't going to open until June. That was not told to us in advance. Plus it is very tiny. There is no outdoor space to sit and enjoy. The people working the front desk varied but none were exceptionally welcoming. The guy working was nice and helpful when I needed towels. The ice maker was broken on the first floor. There were people sitting on the bench outside for hours smoking weed. The woman working the desk at checkout was on her phone, wrapped in a blanket, I had to get her attention about checking out. She just looked at me and told me to put the cards in the basket. Terrible hospitality on her part. The hotel is in a good location for Carowinds.

Breakfast was good ?? Your website says that you had a pool and that you had two open pools but you did not you did not have two pools and your indoor pool was not open that was part of the reason that I booked this hotel

Only booked to get the pool. Said 1 was open online when booked but once arrived it was closed.
