The assistant manager that we talked to a couple of times (and checked us in) was very helpful in offering suggestions on activities/dining. The room was spacious and a good value. Everything was clean. The afternoon tea and cookies was nice. They have a large pool available; however, the advertising stated it was heated, but it felt pretty cold. Overall, good value and would stay again!

Facilities clean, well maintained. Cozy lounging room with tea time in afternoon. Buffet breakfast excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Have been there before. Will stay there again.

I was very impressed with the facility. We were travelling through and just needed a good place to rest for the night. While it was an older facility it has been well maintained. It was clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was just what you would expect. As far as value for the cost, it was significantly cheaper than other properties and was a great value. This will be my go-to location every time I am in Charlottesville

Very nice place. TV not working in room, they transferred us to a mini suite as upgraded which was really nice. Good breakfast. Pool was not in service which was a disappointment and not mentioned when I booked. They put out tea and cookies each afternoon and have coffee or tea 24hours. Would recommend!

Exceptional

Convenient location, close to university of Virginia, shopping, restaurants, and downtown. They provide afternoon tea, which is thoughtful. Gym is small. The only one treadmill is broken.

Rude employee and the internet did not work. They never emptied my trash or gave me clean towels
-
Good hotel with some wear showing on the rooms, but was a pleasant stay. The breakfast was better than most similar types.

Good location. Clean, quiet and priced affordable. Nice British theme with comfortable lobby and English tea served. Large breakfast hall. Good breakfast, but nothing extraordinary. The front desk attendant was off -putting - no eye contract, no welcome, not friendly. Said only what needed to be said. We came back down for tea and noted she was like that to others. Not an invitation to your hotel.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good. However, the pictures of the property lead you to feel there's a nice garden to sit outside. It's in a different unit than we had but is accessible. It's very small and no sitting area. Felt trapped in our room.

Location Bed pillows need to be larger and lack of towels. Had to go to front desk to get. Rooms not serviced regularly. Here for 3 nights and no one took out trash or brought more towels ect.
