Great customer service. Pool was very unique!
-
everything about this hotel was amazing. the only thing is the bathrooms is there’s no door (it’s like a half glass panel) so water kind of goes everywhere, but that doesn’t have any comparison with how awesome this place is. would 11/10 recommend to come here

The location is fantastic, and the hotel is high quality. My room was very good, although I expected a bit more from this hotel as it seemed a bit outdated (not horrible, or in big need of a renovation, but some minor improvments would go a long way).
-
Staff offered another room, but for more money. Other than that, the location was great.
-
Great stay! We loved the amenities and close proximity to the river walk. The staff was excellent.
-
Fantastic hotel with an amazing staff. Perfect for getting around Chicago. My only negative is the AC unit in our room did not actually keep the room cold. It was able to get down to 72 after running overnight.

I’d like the toilets to be higher

I have never waited so long for my bag to be delivered by the bell desk (left it for the day after checkout)
-
Cleanliness and location Everything was great. The only thing was I asked the front desk if I would be able to check in early, and if I couldn’t if I could just check my bags. The person at the desk checked me in early, but seemed irritated that I asked. I didn’t care if I was checked in or not I was just asking. But everything was great.

Fine, old style business feel, lovely staff

Great location. Great gym facility. Lobby area was always crowded but didn’t bother us.
-
The atmosphere, the amazing pool!!
-
Friendly and helpful staff.
-
The room I booked at no AC and I had to ask twice for them to fix it. When they failed twice, I had to ask to move rooms and they switched me to a poor room with barely any sunlight with a clogged tub and the wallpaper peeling. The cleaning staff didn’t leave a cover on the duvet; they just tried to make a cover with two flat sheets.

Run down and overrated Well situated

Our hotel room was very nice and staff made it easy to check in. The only downside to the hotel is the swimming pool. It was large and deep but kind of scary due to all the rust on the walls.

Loved our stay! Beautiful hotel with tastefully decorated rooms. Everything super clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. You cannot beat this location. There is a pool and fitness facility but they were dated in appearance. It did not match the rest of the property. We would absolutely stay here again.
-
My only caveats with this property was the accessibility to get an uber (sometimes our location made it quite hard to have a rider confirm amongst our whole friend group). I would also note that checking out and getting down to the hotel lobby was tricky at times. The hotel only had 4 elevators, and multiple instances we had to wait at least a few times to get an elevator that wasn't full. In the grand scheme of things, it's a small little caveat, but I would recommend planning ahead in case you need to be somewhere!

Clean and comfortable room, great views, pool and location
