I was told it was first come first serve, so why have reservations I was faithfail to Laquinta but no more and Expedia can Kiss My $%#

Horrible breakfast tasted like soap, mildue smell on second floor and rooms. Rooms were being overbooked. Big problem with 3rd party reservations. The reservations that I had made for a 2 bed room was already taken. Ended up with the last room in the hotel and I think the stinky room. Will never stay in this hotel again. Would rather sleep in the car.

Disappointed that when I arrived for check in after a long day on the road I walked in to check in and before I could give my name they informed me that they had oversold rooms and there were non available. I prepaid for my room and was left searching for a hotel at midnight and trying to get my refund through Expedia, with the closest hotels all sold out I had to settle for a room that was 175 dollars more than the room I booked at La Quinta and I didn’t have that extra money to spend! I wish they could have given me the heads up well before I arrived and saved me time, energy, and money if I could have found one in a different area cheaper but no attempts to contact me were made.

Polite and professional staff, spacious room, great continental breakfast and convenient parking.

Parking was good. Check in was good. Arriving in our room smelled bad. Also the room was dirty there was trash inn there from prior use, the desk top was dirty, and there was a bathing suit left in the bathroom on a hook. This was by far the worst La Quinta I have stayed at. I notified the front desk about the the room was and was completely ignored. I will not stay at this location again. There was no attempt to change rooms or even send staff up to clean.

Overbooked. I had to go hunting for another hotel with an available stay even though I had booked and paid prior to checking in.

The hotel, lobby, and staff were great. Our room was honestly one of the worst we’ve ever stayed in (room number 220)The room smelled damp like mold and a bit of cat urine. The carpet was super stained. The towels were grossly stained, the sink was dirty and did not drain at all. The A/C unit was broke and crooked, my husband fixed it. The bed was bowed in the middle. We tried calling down to the front desk to switch rooms but no one answered. We just sucked it up and tried to change our mindsets to more of camping not staying in a hotel. Maybe it was just our fluke and it’s just that room but I would not stay here again.

It was so dirty, it was unimaginable. The sheets were dirty so I asked for them to change it, only one person in the front was in the entire hotel, he said he cannot leave to change the sheets, so I asked for new ones, he gave me clean ones so I changed them. He of course is not at fault and did well, but why should a place hosting so many people and charging in mid 100s be so dirty? you can literally stay at hyatt etc for the same price? I have had good experiences before with this chain hence I booked it without research, not realizing how bad this was. All I expect from a place I stay is really cleanliness. Motels charging 50 bucks a night are at a better state.

There was a terrible odor when we entered the room and it got worse each day. On our last night across from us there was a small dog. The owner was gone and the dog bark from 4 PM to 10:30 PM until the owner came home. We contacted the main desk and they were going to try to reach the owner. Nothing was resolved. There was no offer of reducing our expenses.

They don’t tell you the WiFi connection unless you ask, there was no Kleenex because the hotel was out of it and had to go ask for hand soap becouse the pump they have had nothing in it. The TV had no connection and room didn’t look like they had vacuumed in awhile becouse there was chips behind the dresser and under the beds. The Continental breakfast was not great the waffles dispenser didn’t work and there was no knives to spread butter on toast.

It was an okay hotel, fridge didn't work very well and the TV volume bottom was not working. Everything else was fine. Staff was amazing.

The Location Some of the staff member didn’t have hospitality
-
They put us in a room that that wasn't even clean. They did apologize and get us into another room quickly that was clean. It was good for the couple days we stayed there. Close to everything we did while we stayed there. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I made a reservation for three nights so my kids could swim each night. When we arrived we learned the pool was closed. I asked if we could stay just one night due to the pool being closed and go stay somewhere that had a pool open. Staff told me yes and that I would only be charged for the single night we stayed. When I checked my credit card, I had been charged for three nights.

I didn't like anything about it since I didn't get to stay in hotel. They turned me away yet they are still charging me. I didn't like anything about it since I didn't get to stay in hotel. They turned me away yet they are still charging me.
