Unique property as it is older but kept up. Some of the furniture was well used but still functional, added character for the vintage vibe. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Did not try the onsite restaurant, very walkable to other restaurants and some shopping. Beautiful views of the mountains. Would stay there again.

Nice hotel in good location. Walls were a little thin and the noise bled through from hallway. Air conditioning helped to mute that however. Bedding was lux and slept well. Friendly staff and Starbucks on site was a bonus. Would stay here again.

One elevator down causing overcrowding and grumpy guests on the working ones. Staff was excellent

Homeless camped-out on the property! Not enough employees working… perhaps because they are drugged-out and camped-out on the property.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The bed was uncomfortable. The restaurant was severely understaffed.

The Staff was very helpful and pleasant, food was good, lobby was nicely decorated and very well air conditioned, valet parking worked well and was a reasonable price. TV sound did not work but after I notified the front desk thye sent up an engineer and after she reset everything it worked fine. Room 1204 - The air conditioning is a joke. When we got to the room the thermostat was set to 64 so room should be very cold right?? It was probably about 75 and the sunshade was pulled down. Turning the thermostat down did not make any difference in cooling. The front desk sent up an engineer and she looked at everything and said the cooling was working as good as it could because the east facing large window helped to make the room hotter. She also said the fan was only wired on one speed-high so it was not adjustable and neither was the fan vibration. She said this was a common complaint with the rooms. The bathroom was cozy and the shower was very stained and chipped. There is peeling paint on the doors and the sink did drain eventually. There are alot of cosmetic issues that need to be addressed. The Antlers was built in 1967 and is in need of a very serious refurbishment.

The hotel was great…exceeded our expectation! Perfect location and the staff was wonderful!!!

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

There was no room service. You had to go to the bar or restaurant during their hours to get food.

Classy place in a very convenient location.

we were next door to Pikes Peak Center so we walked there for the show. The staff were helpful and friendly. The elevators were fast. The window seat in our room was great. that we had to pay $25.00 for parking, no microwave in our room, the outside pool was closed. The $16.00 buffet breakfast was not much more than a La Quinta stay. There was no warm syrup for the pancakes, I went into the waiters station and filled it, & it wasn't even warm. No coffee, or hot water in the pots. The juice was watered down, only a couple of yogurts & you had to scrape the bottom of the bowls for fresh fruit that sat in melted ice. Had to wait for plates to serve ourselves..... $50.00 for 3 people! NOT WORTH IT! THE DRURY does a 6 star breakfast compared to this hotel.

This place is overpriced. It is living on steam from glory days of the past. The restaurant is extremely overpriced & the food was barely ok. Go somewhere newer & get more bang for your buck.

The only thing that was confusing was parking but we chose not to do valet parking. Make sure you remember what floor to get off at your parking. The beds allowed us to have a nice nights sleep after enjoying the Melting Pot just a short walk away. Amazing stay and we paid more for a really dirty hotel at our last stop. It was a lovely surprise to walk into our room. We hope to come back but we are from Maine and it’s quite the long drive. I would stay a whole week here if I came again!!

Several of our rooms (we had four) were not cleaned, the wait staff in the restaurant and at the bar were phoning it in, and the front desk didn’t seem to have a grip as to what was going on. Very unhelpful when it came to getting our rooms cleaned.

Great location. Staff was very friendly. Food was very good. Enjoyed the retro atmosphere and architecture.

The hotel was fine, not as up to date as expected it to be. It was clean’ish, run down and needs a remodel bad.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Paid a lot for location. The AC in our room did not cool the room properly. It was warm most of the night all nights we were there until it cooled down enough in the morning. We were not trying to get it to cold 68-70 degrees. The TV never worked properly the guide would pop up you could change the channels but all the channels had a black screen. The bed was good but the pillows were underwhelming. The shower in our room was tiny. The water was so hot you could barely turn it on without scolding yourself. It is honestly a safety issue especially for children. Breakfast was good but pricey. The staff were all friendly. Overall not very impressed.

The hotel is in a good location I’m downtown Colorado Springs and the rooms are clean; however, the hotel is old and tired. It’s in desperate need of a full renovation.

A very nice, comfortable hotel. I would return.

The location is probably the best part of this hotel. It's a block away from Tejon and we were able to valet our car and walk to everything we needed. The staff is very friendly and the valet was on point and accommodating. The city view we had was nice too. The rooms are older. The tvs are old. The walls had visible chips in them and dents. I don't feel like the rooms support the price we paid. If the valet had been free and maybe a free breakfast but honestly it was overpriced. I think they are able to charge higher rates because of the location.

Great views of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak! Worth every penny!
