Paid for a water front room at checking I was told my room is not ready, but was told they have another that’s ready. Call the front desk to let them know what not satisfied with the room was placed on hold for five minutes after which I was told they don’t have any other room. Did not get room service, had to call for clean towels. Would not stay again.

Clean, clean, clean!

Excellent room with character. Quiet area that is convenient to Uptown Columbus.

The lady that checked us in was very helpful. The room had a ceiling fan which was bonus for us. The restaurant was amazing. The decor was awesome, with the old millstones as the focal point. The staff was amazing. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. If they have the key lime cheesecake on the menu, do yourself a solid and order it. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel.

Updated yet historic. Very clean and quiet! River walk was nice and it’s right next to the property.

The location is great, just out of the way enough but right on the Riverwalk, making it a short, easy, and beautiful walk to downtown, plus if your up for a longer walk you can hit up local museums all from the Riverwalk. And if you would rather drive the parking is great and there is plenty of it.

Great place, right on the river-walk. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was good :-). Love the old mill re-worked into what is hopefully a very successful business.

breakfast was underwhelming

The staff was great, the grounds were maintained and the breakfast bar was very good.

Everything! This was the most adorable place that we have ever stayed. We will become regulars! Nothing!

This hotel is sublime in every way. The location, the amenities, and just the overall vibe make for an extremely pleasant experience. This is my second visit to this hotel, but it will not be my last.

On the morning , we mentioned our evening to the general manager who jokingly said “ it was a normal occurrence in Georgia this time of year .” The breakfast was next . There were no pastries of any kind at 9am and the food on the hot bar was cold . When asked to replace or if there were more options . It was a no . We were left with cereal and yogurt . I have no idea why the eating for this hotel are so high ! Consider yourself warned .

This hotel is always somewhere I stay when I travel to Columbus, GA. I was a bit surprised and upset at how I waited for over an hour after I arrived to only end up in a Completely dirty room. Potato chips on the floor and the sheets were obviously slept on and whatever else that happened in the room. But thanks to Ms. Stefanye for going above and beyond to get me into a clean room . She is the reason why I will return. The housekeeper who didn’t clean my room left her name on the note pad, and I have to say that , although your job may be a little overwhelming at times, you literally didn’t try to make my room look as if you had made some attempt to clean it. And I was a bit irritated that when given a VIP drink voucher, it limited what kind of drink I could actually have. So, please take VIP off of the vouchers if you’re going to tell people what they can and can’t have. Thankfully, my sister and our friends didn’t have a bad experience during their first time at the hotel. I hope that the next time I visit, things will be a lot better.

Loved that they provided a great dog bed and pet bowl during our stay. The pet bed and bowl made our dog so happy. They really provided alot of thoughtful touches like mouthwash, qtips, cotton balls, hand sanitizer, and make up wipes. They also have the best complimentary breakfast. We really enjoyed having a free complete breakfast in the morning before we headed out. We liked our stay here because we felt taken care of and we were enveloped in comfort. The beds and pillows are plush. We also really liked the restaurant. The prime rib spring rolls were delicious. The property is well maintained and the restoration of the old mill highlighted the historical charm. We will be back!

Room was very clean everyone there was helpful, kind and very knowledgeable about the area. It is in a great spot with a nice view and I would definitely return.

The hotel was nice enough, but I was not expecting a room with no windows! It is a converted mill so they seem to have one such room on each floor. I didn’t say anything because it might have been a special price, but not cheap. Otherwise it was nice and breakfast was good too.
