Best Western Plus Suites Hotel Coronado Island

Old hotel, uncomfortable bed, “living area” couch springs were broken, pool at its deepest is 3 1/2 feet and is very small. Definitely not a $600/night hotel.

Best free breakfast we had on our trip. Tons of options including gluten free options.

Clean, quiet, comfortable. One light by bed did not turn on. There were no outlets by sides of bed to plug in chargers or anything. There was one three prong outlet on desk and all were very loose fitting, used too much. But there were the best breakfast options anywhere. Especially if you eat high protein and low carb, or if you like your carbs. Lots of individually wrapped items to go or warm up there. Also cooked eggs and sausage. Variety fruit, and juices and yogurts in fridge. Nice place.

Enjoyed my stay. Can’t wait to go back one day

The room was amazing. Got 111 and never had an issue of any kind. Great staff, easy parking . Very clean and quiet.

Room was ok, the property was clean and in a good location. Rooms do need to be updated a bit and the Wi-Fi cut out multiple times

FREE PARKING; I cannot stress how helpful this was as everywhere in San Diego charges for parking. Walking distance from Ferry Landing Shopping center, and the ferry to Seaport Village and the Convention Center. Staff is great, rooms are great, breakfast is great. Property is showing some wear and tear, but they were putting on a new roof while we were there, so good on them!

There are a few rooms right next to the busiest street on the island (3rd St). The traffic noise is quite loud. Unfortunately, I was assigned one of these rooms and I couldn't get it changed. Maybe people bring ear plugs with them, but I didn't have any.

Perfect location to walk to many restaurants. The breakfast was great! We definitely recommend to others, and we would stay there again.

Very good breakfast with hot options. Hot tub and pool. A supermarket a couple of blocks away. We walked about 4 blocks to an excellent, but affordable restaurant called Tartine. About 30 minute walk to the Hotel del Coronado.

Hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub area is pretty small but doable as long as a large amount of people do not all show up at one time. Our family visits Coronado yearly and this was our first stay at this property. It is closer to the bay side of the island but not a bad walk to either the bay shops or the main shopping district on Orange Ave and the Beach. We would recommend this property for its location and affordability.

The free parking was unusable for us as the parking garage is short and the angle which you have to drive into the garage makes it impossible to park a large SUV or truck. The location is great and is within walking distance of several restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores.

Our go to place to stay! Exceptional location away from the more touristy side of the island. But still a short drive to Coronado beach or Silver Strand beach if you like a little more privacy. Short walk to the bay. Rooms always prepared nicely. Thank you for the hard boiled eggs option. Yes please! Always has a great spread for breakfast. B/W Coronado is our main stay!

Staff is always pleasant. New furniture in lobby, courtyard and dining area. Enjoyable stay.
