Extended Stay America Suites Raleigh RTP 4919 Miami Blvd

Paid for the room before we got there. Was not told there would be a deposit it was not stated anywhere in the fine print. Got to hotel late at 11 pm did the check in process they took that payment. Then was told there was a 100 deposit I told lady at desk I did not have that on a card I had cash to pay it. She said no got to be on a card. Other lady stand at desk said call the manager and explain situation. So First Lady walked into a room made out like she called the manager and came back and said my manager said no have to have it on a card. So they took our money and would not refund it said that was on the booking agency to get the money back. So I had to drive 2 1/2 hours home late at night and had to be back down in Raleigh early the next morning. Very unprofessional and the lady even said other people have said they also did not see anything about a deposit.

Our toilet starting leaking in our first room. So we were moved rooms. In our second room the toilet did work. We woke up early in the morning and found roaches on the bathroom sink and were shocked. Even with these issues the staff, assistant manager, and manger were absolutely wonderful! The pool was great and coffee was very strong in the morning. Hotel manager went above and beyond had toilet immediately fixed the next day from our first room and informed us the second room was recently treated and highly apologized. The manager heard the problem and immediately had it fixed which was awesome for future travelers. You should consider staying here just based off of the pool, coffee, and wonderful staff! The pool is also a lot bigger than what we were expecting.

There were bugs in the bathtub, the toilet had urine in it when we showed up.

Other guests very loud was nearly midnight, and there was lots of loud music playing in the rooms. But for a place to just catch some rest for the night was enough, would not stay longer than a night.

Cold swimming pool sauna does not work hotel does not keep cash so soda water payments with debit card to much inconvenience not acceptable

Worst stay! They try to charge because they said smoking in the room when the room already smell like smoke. This was suppose to be a short stay for two nights and they just try to get all the money they can out of you. Do not stay here again! Reaching out to lawyer to figure this out because there is camera in the hallways that shows we walked outside every time to smoke.

The property was very rundown and basic items as simple as bathroom trash cans.

Less cats and piss every where rooms stinks and im just going to stop here we checked out immediately after check in and left will never go back

Book early and enjoy easy in at the hotel

Property is in poor maintenance shape, Room was clean but old carpet, broken/chipped bath tub, floor strips are coming off. Old appliances.

Funky smell throughout the place. Cigarette smoke filled my room each night. They said breakfast was provided but they meant they had a coffee pot on in the morning. Maid only comes in once every 14 days so no clean towels or bed linens.

There was no breakfast, there were breakfast bars and bad coffee the room was dirty, the floor, the walls looked like they were recently repaired, the shower curtain did not fit over the tub, there were no kitchen utensils, very noisy, dirty hallway rugs, VERY dirty elevators, dirty door glass upon entry, the front door was ajar, very bad security, rocks placed so door would not close, the TV went out at 10pm did not finish movie, the towels were good, the sheets were fresh, no bugs, water was VERY hot, too hot, I suggest turning it down, it was dangerously hot
