We really enjoyed our stay in downtown Fredericksburg at this inn from 1770!

From the moment we arrived, it was a welcoming, friendly environment! We toured the Inn, which is beautiful and clean. There were delicious cookies in the dining room. The room was clean. The historic vibes were amazing. The bathroom was clean. It is in the perfect location. You just walk outside, and you are on the main street, yet it's still very quiet at night. Parking was easy. The courtyard out back is well-maintained and a nice place to relax at the end of the day. Breakfast was delicious. Everyone was extremely friendly! I cannot recommend this place anymore!

What a beautiful Inn with a wonderful staff in a great location.

Downtown Fredericksburg is pretty loud, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Parking is tough down there but the hotel has its own parking lot off of Sophia St, and it’s really easy. We had to leave early so we didn’t get to experience the breakfast, but we’d definitely come back. Everything was first rate. If you can’t do stairs you might have trouble, but that didn’t bother us.

Loved the late nineteenth century decor. We took full advantage of the sitting room to entertain guests. Great to walk around Fredericksburg and enjoy the unique shops, restaurants, and history. Overall a luxurious and interesting place to stay.

The Inn has been there since the mid to late 1700s, and served a decisive purpose during the Battle of Fredericksburg during the Civil War. The facility is very nicely decorated with mostly period-style furnishings, with very comfortable beds. The other accouterments, such as the wine and cheese charcouterie board and the early departure breakfast, made our very short stay a pleasant experience.

Beautiful B&B in downtown Fredericksburg. Lovely decor & friendly staff. Comfortable accommodations. Was a bit noisy from the street but they did mention before hand. Still worth the experience. Yummy breakfast & great coffee. Even provided us with a little sparkling wine to toast our anniversary.

I loved the room, the decorations, the comfort, the coziness. Love how close it is to town the walking around town. I certainly would come again when I come to the area.

Safe, clean rooms but parking was inconvenient.
