Howard Johnson by Wyndham Fullerton/Anaheim Conference Cntr

Pros: No pests: we checked our room thoroughly before unloading our bags. No bugs or signs of others pests. No undesirable/unsafe people: we went with our children and the location felt safe. We have stayed at really nice hotels that smelled like drugs and had other shenanigans. Transport: free shuttle to and from Disney (saving you on parking). Free parking!!!! Staff: they appear VERY short staffed, but the staff they do have was lovely. Cons: The furniture is worn and needs an update. Most stuff was clean, but visibly worn. Breakfast options: limited and mostly carbs, no protein. Our issue: We didn’t have a working shower in our room. The staff was quick and apologetic, but it did put a damper on our day. I take partial responsibility for not noticing sooner. Overall good deal of your on a budget and not bougie

Shuttle was really helpful because of the convenience of getting to Disney.

Never had a worse experience than this hotel. Hotel was filthy everywhere from the entrance lobby, room, elevators. It was beyond belief how bad it was. No refrigerator in the room although it shows and they said it’s on demand so I requested but nothing showed up. Sheets and towels had hairs. DIRTIEST HOTEL!!! The property is old and unmaintained. It was smelly in the hotel and room. It does not meet the basic cleanliness standards. I don’t know how they can operate. I could go on and on but to sum it up in words of my 8 yr old it is a JUNKYARD!!!

This place looks like it's for the homeless.

Dirty, old, pictures old, laundry was out of order. When will Expedia require updated pictures?

The place could use a little work. The shuttle to Disneyland is convenient. We noticed a reinspection notice in the breakfast area was wondering if it for the food or the whole place. Breakfast could be better. We got sausage on Saturday but no other day and the toasters were barely working. A waffle maker would be better than thawed out waffles. Our room was fine there is a lot of road noise if you are by the freeway side but not to bad. Its location is close to other stores and fast food. Our hotel door didn’t close or lock correctly but as I said before it could use some updates. We thought it was a fair priced place with a shuttle to the park.

Cleanliness is ok, but the indoor environment seems not very good. It makes people feel it is old. Breakfast is not bad. Above all, price is not that high in that area. So for one night it is acceptable.

My complaint is not with Howard Johnson Fullerton hotel. My complaint is with Expedia. I bought the insurance so I could cancel if need be. I got to the hotel and realized the location was not where I needed. The hotel cancelled my reservation, set me a receipt of the cancellation and yet Expedia is not giving me my refund. Expedia is making me call the hotel, the hotel is making me call Expedia, all is this should NOT have to be done because I purchased the insurance to avoid this very dilemma. -- So, beware, purchasing insurance to secure a cancellation is not protection via Expedia!!!

Good - beds were clean, very white linens, towels super white. No bed bugs, free Disney shuttle if you need it, breakfast was typical breakfast, room for breakfast had lots of space.

It was a great price, until I saw the facility. The carpet in the entire facility was filthy. The room smelled and I didnt feel comfortable staying there and checked out asap.

Hotel is in terrible condition.

Basic hotel provides a place to lay your head for the nite . Furniture and decor is very dated . The hallway carpet was dingy HOWEVER, what they lacked in sparkle they made up for in customer service. Easy check in and they even allowed us to check out one hour later no charge . Was shocked that parking was free. Price was reasonable .

This location was a disappointment. The whole property was extremely dirty. The phone in the room was not connected so we could not call downstairs. The microwave cord was to short to reach a plug so it was not usable. Multi homeless people were coming in to take from the continental breakfast.

It’s old and all the rooms need a major overhaul.
