Red Roof Inn Gulf Shores

This was the worst place I've stayed with expedia don't go to property floors sticky shower curtain broke iron was gone coffee couldn't drink creamer so was hard you could make rocks out of it sheets had stuff on both beds I had my own bedding I will never go to another red roof thanks to that one I have pics

I really never want to give a bad review but I feel like I need to. I will list out everything that was bad. Had to ask for new sheets. The sheets and blanket and pillows were badly stained and had black little hair all over them. The bathroom had bugs. The lady above us stayed up all night screaming with big dogs. The door wouldn’t lock properly we spend 10 mins each time we left making sure the door was shut and locked. The tv was crooked. The staff was nice but not welcoming. It took them 30 mins to check us in and we were the only people in there :) and to add the quit time is 10pm but the lady above us I had to bang the ceiling with my sandal every night at 2am and tell her to shut up!!!! So In conclusion………DO NOT STAY HERE

No handy cap bars ,no automatic doors to lobby, no shower chairs.Night shift chasing their children ,instead of doing their job.

Very dirty and put me below a baseball team then tried moving me to a smoking room, left after an hour of pure bs. The lady working was nice but overwhelmed for sure. I would like to get back my reservation money and I paid for the insurance. Not happy at all.

Floor was sticky in our room but thankfully no carpet. The shower caddy was empty..no body wash or shampoo. Bed was comfortable.

Sheets were dirty the cover was dirty and it was not a good place talk to the lady about the covers and she said if I give you new ones they will look the same?

The staff at the front office were extremely helpful and friendly. Check in was quick. However when we got to the room ot had a musty stale smell to it.

The front desk staff/the manager, was awesome, helpful, and genuinely cared for those of us staying there.

The WiFi did not work at all. Even with the WiFi off, there was zero signal in the room. The tv connection went out every couple minutes. There was a smoke ring around the fire alarm where it looked like it had been on fire before.

Nice place, friendly staff, plain simple hotel. I'd definitely stay there again!

Linens were not clean, room in general not clean. Pool had mold growing around the edges. They didn’t tell me the first night that there is no daily room service without a request. Very unsatisfied with this place. Not a good place to stay at all. Will not be going back there.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very dirty room, dirty bed linen, dirty pool. Broken floor boards, some lights didn’t work, tv was hit or miss working.

Wasn't that clean. Headboard was sticky and hair from the last tenants was everywhere including the toilet seat

Weak WiFi

Cleanliness 1 There were visible stains on bed covers. Counters were not cleaned properly. You could see where they had been wiped with something wet and not dried. Beds were not made up properly. Floors had not been swept., Found pills on the floor. They advertise free breakfast.. Not even juice was available . Nothing, I asked counter person, She said "We don't do that here. You get what you pay for. We had discussed staying a few more nights, however we didn't.

Convenient location. Best price in area. Staff was nice. Checkin and out was easy and quick. Air conditioning was very cold. Ample parking. Shampoo dispenser was empty. The bathroom had an extremely moldy, mildew smell. Basic bare necessities for one night stay.
