Beautiful property with very pleasant and helpful staff. Gorgeous room. Some of the common areas need a bit of refreshing but overall a lovely resort.

I normally love staying at the Westin but I think it’s time for them to do a renovation. The rooms had a weird odor. The air conditioner didn’t work so great either. I rented a one bedroom luxury suite and there was a light bulb out by the bar. The pool was so dirty. We had to tell the life guard to clean the pool and it was still pretty dirty.

The biggest concern was pool safety. During our visit, I observed a lifeguard repeatedly using his phone while sitting on the lifeguard stand. I recorded multiple videos over a period of more than 10 minutes showing him on and off his phone instead of actively scanning the pool. He also appeared more concerned with looking around to see if a manager was approaching than monitoring swimmers. I reported the issue to management and provided two of the six videos I recorded. For a resort that promotes a family-friendly environment, this was extremely concerning. The pool area itself was not well maintained. The pool deck was dirty, and our cabana had bird droppings on several of the lounge chairs when we arrived. The television in the cabana did not work, and there appeared to be only one server covering all of the cabanas. As a result, it took nearly an hour to receive our food and drinks, and we were never checked on afterward. Customer service was inconsistent throughout the resort. At Starbucks, the barista, threw away my cup before my order was complete. When I pointed out that I was still missing a drink, she became visibly frustrated, slamming items around while preparing it. When I later mentioned that the drink had been made incorrectly, her attitude worsened. After all of that, I still thanked her,

This is the most poorly managed hotel I’ve ever stayed at. There was trash everywhere on the ground, people were smoking inside and out, there’s broken glass in the parking lot, one of the major pools was broken, all of the Jacuzzis were broken, the shower in our room was broken. I would not recommend staying at this hotel to anyone.

Wonderful staff and great hotel. Views of the lake were spectacular and it was quiet. Highly recommend.

Booked the stay for the beach!! The beach was to open at 9am and never opened every staff member gave us a different answer.

Parking was a breeze, the staff was absolutely wonderful! From checking us in early, to the pool staff, shuttle service, room service, and check out, the entire staff was constantly impressing us with their kindness and generosity. The room was clean and cool during the summer heat! The pool was very clean, as usual, and the slide is so much fun! Our bestie birthday staycation was well worth it, and we'll continue to keep coming back! I love The Westin Lake Las Vegas, I've stayed here many times over the years, including my wedding night! We love this place. Thank you!!

Always an enjoyable stay. Lovely property, fantastic pool, great DJ and the surrounding views are just beautiful.
-
Wonderful stay that is out of the way. AC didn't cool the room as much as desired but highly recommend and will stay again.

I was a little disappointed. Although i did appreciate the friendliness of the check in staff, valet & pool towel staff, i felt as though my requests were unmet. We requested a quiet room where there weren't families with kids (jr suites) or stairs/elevator access. We got exactly that. Maybe they tried but didn't quite get it right. Booked here instead of hilton due to the "beach" area, which was closed during our weekend visit as well as hot tub. Thete was a lot of bird poop everywhere which i understand can be put of their control but made it hard to find a clean lounge seat by pool. The breakfast was nothing special at all go off site if you want better. Although we got a lake view the balcony is not walkable its about a foot of space. If you get a ground level room for a patio know that you have no privacy & share access with your neighbor. Overall the price was not worth it.

Such a beautiful property. We have stayed here before and will stay again. Lovely room on 9th floor overlooking an expanse of palm trees.
-
Tranquility- relaxing and great property area by the water. Outdoor seating area.
-
The rooms and amenities were fantastic. A very pleasant stay.
-
This resort is very beautiful! Our room smelled like a septic tank for most of the day though, unfortunately. The smell seemed to be coming from the air conditioning and no amount of leaving the sliding door open would alleviate this. Thankfully it went away around 5am...
