Hotel Saint Augustine

If I ever come back to Houston, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, with a unique character that makes the experience feel special. The restaurant is outstanding—the service, music, food, and atmosphere are all exceptional. The location is perfect, and every member of the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend the pancakes—they were absolutely delicious! And the best part of all: it’s pet-friendly, which made the stay even better. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful hotel in a great location. It was awesome to be able to walk to the Menil Collection. One of our favorite areas of Houston. The only thing that was odd, and a safety hazard was the shower. No door or curtain allowed water to get all over the bathroom floor making it very slippery. We had to put towels down all over the floor.

Perfect unique amazing staff and ambiance

Over the past twenty years while traveling to Houston, I’ve never been able to find a favorite hotel. That is, until now. This is by far, our favorite place to stay while in Houston.

Don’t stay in 5103 - you won’t get any sleep past 5 am. The breakfast sandwich was great.

Wonderful front desk staff, great food at the restaurant, lovely location. Design of the room at nice bit too “space optimized”- just too tiny for Houston IMO. Also, I wish the whole property were in one enclosed building.

The property is beautiful and the rooms are classic. I wish there was a coffee maker in the room and the bathroom has the toilet, shower and sinks in one open room. The Hotel is in a good location.

I personally loved the design of the property and interior design of the rooms, overall it was very artful and bespoke. The room was clean and the restaurant was inviting. Staff in the lobby, housekeeping, and restaurant were all super friendly. Great and memorable stay.

Great vibe, decor and location. Somewhat lacking on amenities - no in room desk, coffee machine, water bottles, etc. The queen rooms are also very small.

The Saint Augustine Hotel is a fantastic property. It feels like you are in the Pacific Northwest instead of the heart of Houston. Every staff member was attentive and nice. The room was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Fun design and a very comfortable bed Price was a little high for level of finishes, for example a ceramic tile bathroom.

The shower isn’t safe . There are no grab bars. The tv doesn’t work because it takes forever to “load” when you hit guide. Soooo slow! Needed another garbage can in the bathroom. No bag to stash our dirty clothes. No mouthwash. Very dark hallways that are hard to walk in. Lighting in the room was insufficient. The bread choices in the restaurant were boring and we had to ask for salt and pepper 2 times. Our omelette tasted good.
