Clean room. great breakfast, great fitness facility.

The hotel was nice, very large room and surprisingly very quiet despite being downtown. All the employees were nice. Breakfast was very good, delicious pancakes and avocado toast. My only complaint was the shower. Worst shower ever. Little to no water pressure coupled with the extreme soft water was a horrible combination trying to wash our hair and feel like it was rinsed clean. Just a horrible shower. The extreme soft water even made hand washing a strange experience trying to feel like the soap was rinsed off.

This hotel is conveniently located near downtown Iowa City and University of Iowa campus. The rooms were clean and light with lots of windows. Mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave in room. The lobby is spacious with lots of seating options. They offer a great complimentary breakfast with a chef to make breakfast tacos, omelets etc. They had a yogurt bar, cereals, granola bars, bagels, breads, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice and coffee. Would stay here again.

Not knowing I had to pay for parking until I arrived

The room exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was very good and made to order, it wasn't to many options, but it was still good. the only thing that caught me off guard was the parking, which was $15 a day that I didn't know until day of arrival, but was still cheaper than the $2 hrs. Elements will definitely be my go-to hotel when I'm in Iowa visiting my son. Not knowing I had to pay for parking until I arrived

Everything was great, except the breakfast, it took way to long to get our order and other that ordered after us were being served first. We decided to leave.

Continental breakfast was a little hard to navigate, but not too bad. The material the comforter was made out of wasn't as breathable, but again not the end of the world.

I loved everything about the property. Everything was well-maintained, clean both in the lobby and the rooms, the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly. Next time I return, I will stay at the same Element Iowa hotel. 100% recommended.

This hotel is amazing! Convenient to the University of Iowa and Downtown Iowa City. The rooms are large and comfortable and the breakfasts are unbelievable!!! Made to order - amazing! Do not hesitate to stay here! You will love it.

The potential amenities and location. The available parking located at the hotel was full when we checked in at 5 pm. The outdoor space was used for a private party and wasn’t available to other guests. I booked this hotel based on the amenities and they were not available.
