It was quiet and in a good location. Didn't like the light over the sink that came on automatically. The light would shine right in the person's face that slept closest to the wall. The curtains had lots of little holes in them.

The staff members were nice. There was not a lot of noise, so I was able to sleep at night. The initial conditions of the room were not clean. Once notified, new bedding was provided.

Room was neat and clean. Beds made up very well. Good places to eat within walking distance of the room.

Nothing at all very dirty!! It was very dirty our first room had blood on the back of the door. My third room smelled like pot! My second room had water under the floor my people about got hurt. This motel was disgusting. I my self went through 5 rooms before I found one clean enough to sleep in.. I want a refund!!

I wasn’t able to stay at the property for personal reasons. I called directly to make the cancellation and the person who answered the phone at the hotel told me that it was up to Expedia to refund my payment (I had prepaid the full 3 nights) I called expedia.com and they tried contacting the hotel and explaining I wasn’t able to stay at the hotel and that I needed my refund at least for the following 2 nights (just keep one night’s deposit as penalty not the full 3 nights) it was impossible. The experience was TERRIBLE. Don’t reserve this hotel through Expedia.com. It was outrageous to charge for the whole stay when I was formally calling to cancel the reservation. I tried ‘managing’ my account through Expedia.com and the page kept being redirected to nowhere! This is a TERRIBLE way to make your reservations if you have any issues with your stay, or even worse, if you have to cancel like I did. They keep all your money even if you call and explain ahead of time that you won’t be able to stay at the hotel. Truly terrible and unprofessional both at The Red Roof Inn Lafayette Indiana and at Expedia.com. Lastly, this property is the worse option in the whole area. It’s depressing and dirty. Shows no maintenance whatsoever.

I was really disappointed by this experience. Simply told me no refund at the first place. Why telling customer one thing to get them checking in then denying the request. Be honest is all I am asking.

The rooms were convenient and the place has a lot of restaurants around that are walkable.

Excellent area

Our room was dirty and very cramped. There were large holes in the window covering. The sink and bathtub were cracked. There was no hand soap. On our last night we entered our room to a strong smell of pot smoke that took hours to dissipate, although supposedly it is a non-smoking room. We left a night early because it was unbearable.

Room was ridiculously dirty. There was waste in the toilet upon our entry, the floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. Everything was sticky and old. Just gross.

Helpful Staff, but the rooms weren’t what we expected, for the price we paid. $300+ Poor maintenance.

The location was good. Rooms were as expected, nothing extraordinary. The price markup just for the University graduation!
