Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles LAX/Century Boulevard

I needed a room close to the airport for the night before my flight and this room was reasonably priced and had a shuttle. We arrived and check in was simple. The room smelled musty, thr mattress was creaky, and it was strange to see the sink in the room. We tried to watch TV and there were only two colors and the bottom half was dark. The side table drawer also wouldn't stay closed. On the way out for dinner I asked for a new TV and was told they would need to find me another room. When we returned later in the evening they had a room on a different floor. The second room smelled much better. The room was surprisingly quiet in spite of the proximity to the airport. The shuttle was convenient and got us to the airport.

Only that in the reservation they offered us breakfast included which was not provided to us, I also booked a room for 3 people, which in the reservation said a double bed and a sofa bed and there was only a double bed, one person had to sleep on the floor. The other room I rented everything went well. In general, everything is fine, only this was what caused us discomfort. We didn’t claim anything anymore since we were just passing through for one night and we arrived super late to the accommodation all we wanted was to rest to continue the trip the next day. I always stay in these hotels by Marriott and all always excellent this only time we had a little bad experience.

I prefer to have the sink and toilet together in the same room also there needs to be somewhere to put your things while showering . The refrigerator in the room kept shutting off. Frustrating.

The room was good, it just didn't have alot of lights in the room. The beds were big, the room was clean. Maybe have more towels we are a family of 5 and there was only 3 towels

Excellent customer service

Very large room with decent furnitures. Double glass windows to block airfield noises I did not receive a receipt when I left. Promised to get it by mail, but din't come. Had to call both Booking.com and Marriott customer service to have them sent the receipt, several days after staying there. The surcharge of 100$ over cost for covering damages to the room is certainly not common. The reception clerk could be more welcoming. The lobby is gloomy. The "Bistro" is ridiculous . The cost is mid-tier hotel but what you get is low-tier hotel

Alarm went off at midnight.. It was a false alarm but woke us up.

Staff was professional and layout of the bar / restaurant was pleasant and comfortable.

Excellent hotel, great rooms, comfortable beds, very clean. But the dining options in the hotel are extremely limited, just one cafe bar with tables. Disappointing in a hotel of such quality. And the shower was odd in that the only way to get adequate water pressure was to make the water scalding hot. I would stay there again.

The room was clean and modern. The a/c worked great. Did not eat at property.

The room was large and perfect for an overnight with a larger family before flying out the next day
