This is not a review that complains for silly self serving reasons, or let off steam. We literally got to the room and a drawer had been ripped from the dresser and batteries from the smoke detector were missing. We'd never been to Memphis before. Getting in from Arkansas to the West was deplorable. Nothing felt maintained. Roads were difficult to navigate and dimly lit. We didn't know the area next to the airport was rough. Upon entry into the facility, the sole staff member was chatting on her phone, avoiding the guest in front of me, but was nice to me. She was just short with her words and very transactional. Very knowledgeable though. The floor of the room was not carpeted. At first we thought it was nice and felt slick under our feet. Too slick, because when we took off our socks, we realized someone had done a once-over with a thick coat of product such as fabuloso, and simply wiped it into the dirt. Our feet picked up so much from that floor. The smoke detector sounded all night. Other than that we slept okay.

It was a terrible hotel. There was only black individuals with braided hair many laying on top of their autos with their children. Just a terrifyingly situations. I would say to fear this location.

Worst hotel experience of my 60 years.

Also, I was given a wheelchair accessible room. The bed and bathroom were truly accessible--well done! However, the counters for the kitchenette were too tall, and the chairs at the tiny breakfast bar were not at all appropriate. The front desk service, when I arrived at 9:45 PM, was not great. The woman was on her cell phone the entire time she was checking me in. Worse, the front desk closed at 10:00 PM. I have no idea how anyone could check in after 10. I discovered there were additional fees when I checked in (only $12 more, but unexpected and annoying--and more than someone else could afford, so he was stuck without a place to stay last night). The morning person at the front desk was polite and attentive. However, if I were in a rush to get out early, I never would have known. The front desk didn't open until 9:00 AM. Finally, though the building has plenty of no smoking signs everywhere, the hallway on my floor smelled strongly of tobacco smoke.

The place was dirty and was not up to pictures standards. People begging for money in the lobby

I would not go back there.

It’s was wonderful
-
Dirty on the outside and inside staff at front counter no help at all ended up going elsewhere there were people hanging around outside the entrance and in parking lot definitely felt unsafe
-
Facility was run down. Floor was sticky and dirty. No comforter on bed just 2 sheets. Would not recommend to anyone unless they don't care where they sleep!
-
Disgusting rooms and they charged me extra for some bogus fee. Drugs everywhere. Not safe for you family.

Would not recommend

Passable

The only thing that I was upset about was the fact that I booked the room online, but once I got there, I discovered that there were actual hidden fees. The staff assured me that my extra deposit would be returned to my card, but my biggest worry was " What if I didn't have that money for that fee? Would I have lost out on what I paid online?" Other than that, the price of the suite was very reasonable, but I will not go through another 3rd party service.

The property has problems, no remote for a whole week then didn’t get my refund, no tissue had to get own tissue. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We didn’t stay at all,...

We didn’t stay at all, we arrived and they gave our rooms to someone else. We have to go to a different hotel

Very good

I mean the rooms were very bad condition. Bathroom wasn’t clean. Sheets were not changed. I even saw dead bed bug. Also saw blood stains from bugs. I checked in and checked out in 10mins.

Received key for 1st room, room wasn't cleaned. 2nd room, key didn't work, 3rd room had a hole in the wall, tv didn't work and the bathroom wall was very dirty. Dried up something- gross. The lady at the front desk was very apologetic. Also, they charge you additional fees totaling $75 that aren't mentioned on expedia. They charge a deposit, utility fee and cleaning fee and even charge your card before your stay. If it wasn't late and i didn't just drive 11 hours, i would've stayed somewhere else.
