Studio 6 Suites West Memphis, AR - Memphis

To check in- had to call a number and a lady came up to check us in The room we were given was under renovation, but not complete. It was clean- BUT- no water glasses, coffee pot or service, no smoke alarms, etc. Checking out- there was a guy sitting in. Car engine running and lights out and he calls out to me as I drop the key in the window. Creepy.

They didn’t let me stay at the room and told me to request a refund but never gave me my refund

The staff has been very friendly. The room has plenty of space and almost feels like renting a 1br apt. I genuinely like it here and am glad we picked this.

I am not above staying in an older hotel, but when the entire site shows only renovated rooms, it is very deceptive. Below are photos I took after obtaining a key and before I allowed my children and I to sleep there. I am also contacting the health department. Please take the pictures down or put both renovated and non-renovated pictures up on your site. And then price the rooms accordingly. AND CLEAN THE ROOM before offering it to us. Never again.

No microwave, receptacles in bedroom didn’t work, property looked ran down.

Place was nasty. Roof on room had water damage and water flowing the bed was nasty had bandaids and Christmas ornaments on it the place was very ran down!

Bed was comfy, room was clean and no pet deposit Bad things No microwave like it was said, they have a cook top but no pans, water was brown, peed and had to get a plunger and then when he was done take it back up front, bathroom door was cracked, outlet was hanging out of the wall, lady up front you cant hear her cause the speaker is broken so she was writing stuff down, and the light in the entrance was flickering enough to cause a seizure. That was something alright.

Part abandoned under construction dirty room, bedding broken tv and furniture electrical issues, unsafe area, no staff, left after seeing room and motel. Unsafe dont stay here veey scary

Hard beds. Felt like we were laying on concrete. Bathroom didn’t close all the way. Tv didn’t work

The staff are doing their best with what they’ve got and were lovely to deal with but the hotel is in terrible shape. No wifi in the room, we had to step outside to use it. Water ran rust coloured so it was too gross to use. There was a group of men renting the room next to us who were outside getting high in their car every time we walked out the door. It didn’t feel safe or secure - I woke up several times in the night to banging outside or people shouting outside someone else’s door and was constantly getting up to check on my car to ensure it was still there and not getting broken into. Would not recommend staying here until they make significant changes.

Didnt let me stay and no refund

Manager gave wrong directions to the room. Room was unfinished or under construction. Only one electrical outlet on the opposite wall from the bed stands. It did not work, I couldn't charge my phone or use my CPAP machine. The cheapest towels I've ever seen. No TV in the bedroom. The TV in the separate room with a love seat did not work. Greasy stains on the wall, head level behind the love seat. Other items in disrepair; cupboards, door between rooms and curtains.

The price....but you get what you pay for. The lady at the desk at night when I checked in was nice. Where to start....the light out front didn't work, the hotel was "renovated", my room had no TV in the bedroom, no light, no outlets, no plugs whatsoever in the room. The bed was horrible and I didn't sleep well at all. The kitchen had a full size fridge and stove top, but that was it. It looked like the "renovated room" wasn't finished. I got locked out of my room in the morning while taking my dog out and there was nobody in the front lobby. Just a note with a phone number...how do I call without a phone???

It was a previously owned and named motel that Motel.6 recently acquired and is being renovated with the purpose of making it a "Studio 6 Suite" facility. The renovations are not nearly complete, the rooms are filthy and the entire facility is ramshackle and in disgusting disrepair. It does not even have a visible sign: only a practically invisible banner wrapped around the pole with the name of the motel before it was a "Studio 6 Suite." The lighting in each room consists of three unbearably bright florescent lights: there are no dimmer bedside reading lights or any other lighting ar all. We were greeted with an extension cord plugged in to an outlet above the kitchen sink and running across the floor to the television. The wifi signal reaches only the front of the property. The bathtub has chips where the enamel has been damaged. The photos that accompany this review show just how bad this place is. Avoid it at all costs.
