The Biscayne Hotel

The room was spotless. Parking was very convenient. Staff was very nice and professional.

At 6am we were awakened to the sounds of a women being beaten in the room above ours.

Would not recommend

The room itself had a strong, unpleasant odor that seemed permanent. Throughout the night, loud noise and horrific sexual activity from neighboring rooms made it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. I could hear men and women arguing, throwing objects, and yelling profanities at all hours. The atmosphere was so uncomfortable and concerning that I decided to leave within a few hours of checking in and accept the financial loss rather than spend the night there. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The property felt unsafe, poorly maintained, and completely unsuitable for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, and comfortable stay. I would not recommend staying here.

A/C and pill

It was nice but terrible parking unless you pay $15/day and bare rooms.

First of all, the pictures are extremely misleading. The first pictures showing are supposedly the suites, which I never saw. It mislead me by thinking there was a lobby. Instead, there was a glass protected front desk with 2 clerks, very nice ladies. However, by 5 you are checking in using a glass windows with push out drawer. It certainly made me think that the neighborhood was not safe. Even though there was 24/7 sevailance, the place was totally enclosed. Apparently, it seems to be also a place of long term stay for social services recipients. It was very clean but the air conditioning was potent! You only have a very thin sheet and bed cover. I didn't even bother to ask for an extra cover. I just froze the entired night. If you turn up the air to less freezing, the floor got totally wet from the humidity. The only best thing there was the Greek Restaurant with a variation of midditerrannian food that was exceptional! Run by a family and an owner with various other Greek restaurants. It was amazing. I was indeed very disappointed because the pictures were totally misleading! There's no pool, apparently it was filled on and now there's just a big grass patch in the center. That's your outside view or courtyard. It was though very clean and I guess is what you get for your money. I just thought it might be more chick or vintage looking boutique hotels and motel. Is very close to downtown Miami, designers boutiques and great choice of restaurants.

Everything was as per the expectations. Location was really good. Closer to public transportation which helps a lot. Staff was helpful

Need to regularly clean the rooms, despite informing the housekeeping did not clean the room.

Surprisingly really nice. Very small but comfortable and had everything we needed. Pool was filled in and was grass. Room super clean and nothing unnecessary. Husband complained of no coffee pot in room or “lobby”. But a short walk down the street was a bagel shop that had coffee and bagels (even salted bagels my favorite). Opened at 8am. Outside street noise mostly from police cars loud. But, i would definitely stay here again.

Wasn’t the cleanest, was terrified to use the shower , was manageable for one night.

The people they had lingering around the place

Although there was a strong urine smell.The parking lot was clean ,but very small…I will say that the guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful.I booked because I had a cruise the following morning .Once I went into the room it seemed okay,but further inspection there was a lot of dirt stains on the wall.I was very uncomfortable once I noticed a bug which was a roach in the corner of the wall aswell as one crawling on the tv…The doors to the room are very sketch to me.Thats something I wouldn’t trust.

The door to the bathroom walls awful. A slider that floated out over the trim. No privacy at all. And while well proportioned, the reglazing in shower and tub area was peeling.
