Breakfast and cleaning staff were spectacular!

Our stay was amazing! It was so homey and comfortable. All the little touches made it feel like you were staying at home and not a hotel. The restaurant and bakery on the grounds were fantastic! I definitely recommend.

Rooms are always clean and comfy. Breakfast is great with a very relaxing atmosphere. We love the pool/hot tub, especially the patio outside. We also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit. Looking forward to our next trip.

Check-in was fast and the staff here is friendly and helpful! We enjoyed the hot breakfast but wish they had granola to go along with the yogurt. We highly recommend The Essenhaus!

It was a beautiful place to stay. I was so impressed I sent the information to my sisters for the possibility of a sister's weekend.

Delicious breakfast, pool was great, beautiful hotel to wander around and relax. Very comfortable and peaceful.

When I booked the room on Expedia, it said the room had a balcony. When we checked in our room did not. Went to the front desk and she said only the rooms in the atrium had balconies and she did not have any available. She said we booked a standard room and they don’t come with balconies. On Expedia website it says standard room with balcony. We did not get what we booked online and was very disappointed.

Breakfest could be improved to think about those who are diabetic or have dietary need that are low carbs and sugar. Especially on Sunday morning, really struggled with options. Would stay there again.
