Extended Stay America Select Suites Raleigh RDU Airport

Very unethical business. I had a cancellable reservation. I had time upto 6 PM to cancel or else they will bill my credit card and hold the room for me. This is the policy of Expedia arrangement with hotel for cancellable reservations. I went in to check in at 9 PM, they had cancelled my reservation without notice! When I went in to check-in, I had no room! I had to sleep in car. Terrible experience. They had sold the room for higher price for someone else. It was graduation weekend and hotels were fully booked in the university area. They grabbed the chance to make money ignoring the contract with Expedia. Expedia could not help after speaking to hotel. They just gave me $25 as cover up. This hotel, I will never go again

Staffing very polite

The staff was very helpful and friendly No soap, No inner curtain so we could not open curtain as room was on first floor and no privacy, people in parking lot had loud music and talking till late night which disrupted our sleep, insufficient lighting in room, no trash can in room and no coffee/tea maker. It was pretty run down

There was no kitchen utensils whatsoever

After hours you got to call the call center and wait for them to get the night attendant, depending on who you get, you may be waiting long. They got the audacity to charge for TOILET PAPER. I stayed 2 weeks and have to get charged for toilet paper. 2nd room was dirty but didnt see any bugs, after i saw the service and after a long travel, i just wanted to get settled and it was the middle of the night when i checked in. No compensation, no apology, nothing to try to appease the customer, even when they know they wrong. Bottom line- DO NOT STAY HERE

I slept with cockroaches. Literally everywhere. Even on the bed. I woke up because i felt something moving on my forehead and sure it was a cockroach!!! Disgusting!!!

The hotel room had roaches. It was people making a noise smoking.

The employee took 30mins to come down stairs to get me signed in . Then you guys both charged me stay at the hotel. I payed booking then I payed extended stay .. terrible experience. Still waiting to get my money back . ALSO ROOM WAS DIRTY RED JUICE ON THE FLOOR . Never again

The outside was clean and manicured. The room we stayed in smelled of horrible body odor and stale cigarette smoke. There were also large cockroaches coming from under the countertop area.

It was a little surprising to find nothing to cook or eat with in the kitchenette. The staff was super friendly. The furnishings are aging. The towels were sufficient, but a little threadbare, but the bed was comfortable.

Mattress needs to be replaced,

Location The room had a bad smell. Like a dog. And there were baggies and residue left on the bathroom counter so whoever cleaned the room didn’t do a good job at all
