Studio 6 Extended Stay - Myrtle Beach, SC

We got there and it looked nice on the outside, but it looks like it hasn’t had maintenance in years. Everything is broken or cracked or peeling from the carpet to the ceiling. The inside smells terrible, and theres no noise control. The room was spacious, but the AC was damaged and inconsistent, the pillows were lumpy or brick hard and the “blanket” was a dollar store fleece blanket in between 2 sheets. And theres cockroaches:)

This hotel was disgustingly. I couldn’t stay for the one night. I wasn’t comfortable at all. I check in took my bags to the room went to pick up dinner. Hoping it got better. It didn’t got my bags and check out. Check in a little after 10 check out by 12:15 didn’t got home till 2. It’s a NO for me

First the staff was wonderful, helped us with every concern and was super nice. But that seemed to really be the only good thing. Our first room the stove did not work and the room smelled like straight mildew. We got a new room easily, but only one of the stove parts worked, the air conditioner leaked bad on to the floor, the fridge did not keep our food cold, and it smelled super bad. The smell is still on my clothes now after the trip. Also there were multiple occasions where there were huge dogs that the owner of the dogs would have to use all their might for them not to attack me and my girlfriend. Which I know is not the hotels fault, but still a concern. For the price and no down payment it’s not terrible. But if you’re looking for a longer trip place definitely consider this review.

Very disappointed in the room. Room was dirty. Cobwebs in window. Floor was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. Bathroom door looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, ever. Pool was not in use. Will not be staying there again. Room looked nothing like the photos

Room was dated mold around tub seems, room also smelled like a cat litter box.

Microwave, coffee pot, no coffee for it, full size refrigerator, stove top. No cookware, dishes, silverware. Air conditioner works well. Could use updated, though everything worked.

The room was very clean and well kept ., the staff was friendly, the shower needed work it was not very strong. They definitely need to improve their handicap accessibility I couldn't get out of the building without help they don't have an automatic door for wheelchairs

When I arrived there, I was told that they needed all the identification of who was staying in the hotel and I had to explain that it wasn’t no one but me staying there and I was shown how people were being removed from the hotel, and we’re sitting on the curb with their things, and the people appeared to be homeless, which again is sad to see that people have no heart for individuals and when I came back to the hotel, the front desk clerk was warned about me to see if I had it any more individuals with me, and I was the only one staying there for that one night and not to mention when you first walked into the lobby, you smell urine immediately and again the staff was very rude. Very unprofessional, as if I was a bother to them.

When I woke up the next morning and got out of bed that a little critter was in the bed with me. Of course he was dead by then. I told the front desk that they need to spray the room. Also went to turn the heat on and it had this disgusting smell almost like urine. So I turned that off. I will not stay there ever again.

The kitchen was not fully equipped. The stove eyes didn’t heat up right. There was red hand prints on the bathroom door. The room was very outdated.

Pool was down, otherwise great!

Yes the air was great but did not have kitchen utensils..

It was not it was out together no pots no plates nothing

It is a very dated hotel needs TLC no supplies for us to use to "cook" staff was great location was nice

Overall everything was good!!

Everything here was great but the staff was beyond amazing! My family was welcomed from the moment we walked in. Lynn was the absolute sweetest person, my two little boys just adored her. We were treated more like family than a customer. This place was perfect for our vacation and I am so glad that’s where we ended up. I completely recommend staying here with your family. I loved every minute of our stay and will definitely return!
