Holiday Inn Express New York City- Wall Street by IHG

Breakfast was great. Room was kept very clean. The room was quiet despite being downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Destiny, the lady who checked me in, was very nice and gave useful information about the neighborhood. She also fully explained the amenities of the hotel.

The property, although old, is well maintained. There’s complimentary breakfast by the lobby and bottled water in the front desk. The staff is welcoming and attentive to our needs. My only complaints were the useless gym in the basement and zero of parking. The neighborhood felt safe with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty fairies, and the World Trade Center were all within walking distance. Everything else is a short train ride away. I recommend booking an Uber Shuttle to and from any of the airports. Regular uber is well over $100 and hauling luggage on the trains is impractical.

Close to 2 subway stations (bus stop right outside). Breakfast was very good and covered everyone’s preferences. There is 24 hour deli a few steps away from the entrance which made this place worthwhile for us. Rooms were a tad bit smaller than usual but we didn’t mind that much as we spent most of the time sightseeing

Great location and the staff were so friendly and excellent. Good breakfast and coffee available all day. Such comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Would have liked more fresh fruit at breakfast.

The room was incredibly small, but it is New York. Hot water was nonexistent. Breakfast was good but crowded. Very walkable.

Great downtown location. On tap costa coffee Lift was slow and on one morning waited 10 minutes

Breakfast is good. Room had multiple issues: missing lamps, missing mattress & clogged shower drain. And these issues were taken lightly & not addressed on time or not at all. Our room was dark & dimly lit due to missing lamps. Rceptionist couldn't offer a different room as they claimed to be fully booked. But as soon as we reported a missing mattress, we were offered a new room, which had a clogged shower drain. When we reported issues, the receptionist kept passing the buck to the manager (who wasn't available then) instead of addressing the issue. The clogged drain was left unattended until we called multiple time over 2 days to get it fixed. We were told the receptionist had not put the issue in the reports so the crew was uninformed of the issue until our multiple calls came in. Overall, very poor service but properly trained staff could make a difference.

Price too high for the services, no fridge and micro in the room, small dining hall which sometimes can cause not having a place to eat your breakfast and no smart TV so you can't put your netflix account
