Clean and OK for a one night stay. Basic but done the job

It is a cheap hotel. People screaming in the lobby during the nights, private bathrooms are not really clean. Our room had was open on the inside court that was full of debris. The staff was nice but not really helpful. Honestly it was my worst stay with hotels.com

Closer to my location of interest Here's a more polite and balanced version of your review: We booked this hotel primarily as a place to rest after spending our days visiting nearby attractions, so a comfortable night's sleep was very important to us. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. During our two-night stay, the air conditioning did not function properly, and there were persistent noises throughout the night that made it difficult to sleep. As a result, we were unable to get the restful stay we had expected. I regret having to leave a negative review, but I feel it is important to share our honest experience. Based on our stay, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers whose priority is a quiet and comfortable night's sleep. This version keeps the criticism clear while sounding professional and courteous.

Clean, adjustable air control is great window opens

We had bugs in our room. With the window open it smelled of trash. The amount of people yelling and slamming doors all night was excessive.

Doors had locking issues I had to move rooms twice because my door would not lock. 3rd floor was super hot I could not adjust the ac in there.

Not the most convenient location in regards to public transit, way better hotel options across the city.

This hotel has a lot of limitations not a lot of amenities and I won’t be staying there again.

The room was styled nicely, it was comfortable and the staff were great. I found it really easy to get to by train from JFK airport and found the neighbourhood nice and very accessible to the rest of New York. I was travelling solo and this was a much better option than the hostel styled accomodation in more central parts of the city.

Good location, lots in walking distance. Simple hotel room with nothing special, but was worth the price.

The hotel and the rooms were NOT clean. Upon my arrival, the room they gave me had long hair in the bed. The linens were either not washed, or not washed well. Although they subsequently attempted to move me, two OTHER different rooms that they tried to check me into each had hair in the beds and on the floors. I recommend inspecting each bed upon check-in. Noise is a problem. The doors are thin, and you can clearly hear things. In one of the rooms they temporarily had me in on the first floor, I could hear the pop music they were playing in the lobby all night. I could also hear staff moving around all night. On the upper levels, while I couldn't hear the lobby, one could clearly hear other guest through the doors. While staff attempted to remedy some of the situations, it was clearly an issue they had to fix things at all. Overall, this was an awful stay and I would recommend looking for other accommodations.

Breakfast is ideal to keep you going muffins, bagels tea or coffee in a small basement area at the hotel.

Internet was terrible. Room felt gross. The tiles in the bathroom were loose and moldy. Lights didn’t work in the room.
