Canopy by Hilton San Antonio Riverwalk

This property was such a pleasant surprise!! All of the staff was super friendly and offered many suggestions of things to do around town. Jp and Hector were suburb with customer service for breakfast at Domingo’s. This is a must and we have already booked for a November return…!!!

Amazing stay great area

Upon arrival the staff was very courteous and informative. Room was clean, facility very well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this location. The hotel was also conveniently located to all the sites we planned to visit. Thank you John, Tania and entire staff - Exceptional service!

Great Location, Great Staff

The location of the hotel was very convenient. Beautiful place and scenery. We had amazing views from our hotel room. Very decent and comfortable stay. Check in was so easy and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the hotel bar and their bartenders were wonderful. Would love to stay here again.

Overall, the staff inside was friendly and the attached restaurant was fantastic. Valet was very unfriendly. It is $70 a day for valet. When I chose not to use valet, they walked away . I unloaded my vehicle and left my wife with the bags in front of the hotel. I went to park and when I returned they had left her standing on the sidewalk. Another guest opened the door for her so she could bring the bags in herself. Very unprofessional.

The hotel staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and right on the river. Rooms are nice. Easy access to the Aztec Theater and other downtown spots. Recommend using valet if you plan to walk around and not use your car.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was super helpful and the rooms were clean.

After checking in somewhat late Thursday night, we walked up to a dirty room. Not just a little dirty, there were used cups, towels, a messy bed, and feces covering the toilet. It was absolutely disgusting and set a bad tone for the rest of the night/trip. I felt gross about everything I touched after that. They offered a $50 credit toward breakfast, but that feels so minimal for spending $200+ on a room and the $18 location fee to walk into a nasty room.

The restaurant Domingo did not have a functioning card reader. I was told by the hostess that I would have to fill out a form which would be used to input the charge at midnight. I indicated to one of the servers that I intended to pay cash. I was told that would work until it didn’t. No putting it on the room, no cash. I gave my card to the server to be hand copied. I was asked if I was given a voucher. Was that the $300 put on my card on check in? Who knows. The next day still no card reader. Even in the small restaurants in Campeche they have more than one card reader. So, my card number was in a stack of other card numbers for anyone to read. No water in the room. It had to be asked for. No safe.
