The location in Mission Beach was very walkable close to great restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much. Would recommend this property.

We have stayed at the boardwalk several times now and will continue to come back every time we stay in San Diego. You cannot beat the location to Mission Beach and it is just the cutest hotel. We absolutely love it and would recommend it to anybody!

Julia was amazing...extremely friendly and helpful. The location is sweet spot between Belmont and PB. Super close to the beach and the bay with enough amenities nearby without it being overcrowded.

I would especially recommend this hotel to anyone requiring a wheelchair accessible shower. The room we stayed in had a roll in shower which was super accessible. It wasn't just a regular shower with a handlebar like most "accessible" showers. There was SO MUCH space and it didn't feel restricted at all.

Apartment style Horrible unsafe location. People doing drugs and partying outside our door. Felt very unsafe and connected to an alley. No help at front desk. No one there

The Boardwalk Hotel was amazing! The room was clean and cozy! We loved how helpful and kind the staff was! Highly suggest for a get away!

A 2 minute walk to the beach/boardwalk. It is a cute little boutique hotel and was overall modern and clean. Nice private outdoor patio. Dishes and modern appliances in mini kitchen to cook with. Fancy toilet with heated seat. All modern finishes, was overall comfortable and a nice stay. We were able to rent bikes for free with our hotel stay. Little outdoor shower to clean off sand. The pillows and pillowcases were musty smelling, which made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. The plants pictured are all plastic, which was fine, but not what I expected from pictures. Parking is very difficult and I didn't realize it would cost me an extra $30/per night until we were checking in.

It looks great in the pictures. It’s small The location is horrible, you have to reserve parking ahead of time to actually park at the hotel, for the price it wasn’t worth it.

Excellent place to stay. I would definitely return in the future if going to San Diego.

The property was amazing! The only thing that could have been better is towels for the jacuzzi, and fresh towels brought daily or enough for the whole stay.

Greeted by very helpful and friendly staff. Loved the free access to bikes, paddle boards, surf boards and other beach equip. Location was another plus, 1/2 block to bay and 1.5 blocks, or less to beach. Sailing and other water sport rentals, 1/2 block away. Definitely coming back.

Beautiful clean and close to everything !

This is the cutest little boutique hotel. The retro decorations and colors were so fun. I love turquoise!! The bed was so comfortable, I got such a great night sleep. The amenities were perfect, everything I needed. The rainwater showerhead worked great. Everything was just so cute and well-maintained in the staff was amazing. The location is perfect as well! It’s just about a block in from the beach and right down the middle between mission and pacific. It was about a 15 minute walk to Belmont Park in one direction , and a 15 minute walk to Pacific beach restaurants in the other direction. Lots of fun things to see on the way. The Boardwalk Hotel will be my go to place to stay from now on. Just lovely!
