Location is a benefit for this hotel. Room was clean but a little dated. A window was cracked the length of the window. Notified front desk and they were aware of it but not sure when they plan to repair. Place was quiet and the staff was helpful. Continental breakfast has limited options. We stay in San Diego about three times a year and like staying at different places. Looking forward to next stay but pretty sure it will not be at this hotel.

The hotel overall is run-down. The floors in the walkways are uneven because of water damage. The floors in the rooms are chipped and ripped. The beds were nice and the bathroom was nice. The parking garage was low and our truck couldn’t fit (which isn’t their fault) but finding on-street parking was very difficult and the roads are so narrow with parked vehicles that only 1 car could pass at a time. The continental breakfast consisted of a room as big as a closet with juice, tiny mini-muffins (like 5), Frosted Flakes, Cheerios, and 2 waffle machines. Only 3 people could fit in the room at a time. We paid extra for a hotel that offered breakfast and it was incredibly disappointing.

We reserved 3 rooms and all were clean and well maintained.

It was good

The blonde lady has a permanent stank face. The Latina lady with an accent was very professional and cordial. Again, blonde lady was short with us and seemed annoyed to have to check us in. She gave monotone and annoyed information.

Good location, friendly and helpful worker, older hotel that needs renovated.
-
It is an older place and doesn't seem to be the best area. Rooms were cleaned ok. Lad at the desk was very helpful and friendly. Small breakfast choices
-
Easy to walk to the shops. Cleaning staff was nice. Desk was nice enough, but couldn't really give us any information about old town. Would stay again.
-
Everything and I felt safe there. Parking lot was in a parking structure that was enclosed.

The location is Amazon near by everything you need in your vacations The breakfast doesn’t have fruits or coffee

Smells mold; room left dirty;found hair on towel; asked for cancellation, at the night i saw the place, through booking com and they agreed to cancel rest of the nights and property confirmed with me as well but later after 4 days İ called booking com they told me property charged for 2 nights minimum. İ called property again and they told me that booking com policy is that minimum 2 night policy. One of the is lying definetely. İ told booking com that they should have previous customer service agents call with me and talk with them recorded at their end. This is scam.

El cuarto estaba muy limpio , el señor que nos recibió en la mañana muy buena gente , lo único malo es el cuarto de breakfast , no cabe nadie adentro, tienes que hacer fila y tienen muy pocas cosas solo pan y café ,les falta un poco

The room was nice and clean, the location was awesome, staff working in the evening very friendly and nice. I would definitely recommend it. For breakfast they only had waffles and cereal, my daughter loved it, but I prefer savory breakfast.

The rooms were clean & well kept. The cover photo for the hotel is for a park a few miles away, that felt pretty misleading. The breakfast was okay waffles, cold cereal, and toast. The parking garage was pretty tight quarters.

The hotel is around the corner from Old Town which was a very nice and short walk. Although the freeway is next to the hotel it wasn't too loud. The breakfast was decent. The sheets blankets and towels were not very clean and that was probably my biggest issue. The room has a microwave and refrigerator which is very convenient. The bed linen was minimal and not very comfortable. I would say you get what you pay for.

Western inn is located very close to public transportation. The Old town transit center is just down the street, maybe 3 blocks. Best value hands down. Very friendly staff, rooms are clean and the property is quiet

Close proximity to the airport No closet to hang clothes! And when I asked why they didn't have any closets, the gal at the desk said, "I don't know!" That's unacceptable.

The location is so close to the international airport. Staff were courteous and helpful as best as they could be in resolving issues I had on arrival. My original booking was for a "king" bed. On arrival the room was clean, but had a terrible odor. Not able to open windows to get fresh air. I brought my concerns tot the front desk bust was told there was nothing that could be done because the hotel was booked for the weekend (perhaps something might open up the next day. I went back to my room to unpack and discovered there was only 6 hangers with only one for use to hang pants or skirts. There was hand soap dispensers on the sink and shower walls nothing customary to what you would find at other hotels (even Comfort Inn). I went back to the front desk to ask for more hangers and was told not possible because the hangers were held in place b y rings around the poll and since there were no more available rings, it would not be possible to add more hangers. Frustrated, I asked what the policy was for cancellation after (knowing I needed to provide at least 24 hr. notice and I was booked for 3 nights. At that point the front desk staff person informed me that there was a suite room available that I could move to immediately at no upgraded cost. I moved to the suite which was definitely larger, and didn't smell. There were more hangers for my needs. I went to get ice from the machine, The room's ice bucket didn't have a top. Next day I went to for breakfast and was disappointed to find that the eating space was located outside. The actual "breakfast room was the size of a small closet. The food offerings were mini muffins, waffle maker, 2 selections of juice, one container of Cherrios, and oatmeal (which I guessed was instant because it wasn't cooked. None of the usual breakfast options you might expect when breakfast is offered - not even boiled eggs. The juice choices were orange or apple. The orange juice I tossed after one sip because the taste was terrible. So I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel during my entire stay. A very disappointing experience.
