    Very very disrespectful staff in the breakfast department.The experience was so disrespectful that I checked out a day early even when I paid over $1200 for a 4 night stay. Definitely not booking anything with the Best Western imprint now or in the future.

    Biggest issue we had were the pillows. They were so soft that they collapsed down to nothing when you placed you head on them.

    Breakfast was not included. No shuttle from the airport. The room and the whole hotel was very clean! Staff was very helpful with holding our luggage while we explored Little Italy.

    I had a wonderful experience at the DEXTRO HOTEL in the Little Italy area of San Diego. The staff is absolutely amazing—friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. The hotel is conveniently located, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The rooms are clean, updated, and very comfortable, and the pricing is affordable for such a great stay. I would highly recommend DEXTRO HOTEL to anyone visiting San Diego!

    I expected a clean and properly inspected room before check-in, but that was clearly not the case. The condition of the room greatly affected my stay and left me with a very poor impression of the hotel. I hope management takes steps to improve housekeeping standards and room inspections to prevent this from happening to future guests. They gave me another room, but it still didn't feel very clean; it smelled like urine, too. I do not recommend this hotel.

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other travelers should be aware of my experience. Before arriving, I requested an early check-in because I had an early flight and wanted to ensure a smooth start to my stay. Unfortunately, despite planning ahead and communicating my request, I ended up waiting nearly four hours for my room to become available. During that time, communication from the hotel was extremely limited, and I received very few updates regarding the status of my room. After waiting for hours, I was finally given access to my room only to discover that it had not been properly cleaned. At that point, I was exhausted from traveling and frustrated that the room was not ready despite the extended delay. This significantly impacted my stay and reduced the amount of time I was able to enjoy the accommodations and amenities I had paid for. What was most disappointing was not just the delay itself, but the overall handling of the situation. Delays can happen, and no hotel is perfect. However, guests deserve clear communication, properly prepared rooms, and a resolution that reflects the inconvenience experienced. Unfortunately, I did not feel that happened in this case. The property ultimately offered a small amount of compensation, but considering the lengthy wait and the condition of the room, I do not believe it adequately reflected the impact these issues had on my stay. I hope management takes steps to improve communication, housekeeping standards,

    Old, beat up...obviously not what it once was. They remodeled the lobby and food areas, which is nice. However the rest of the hallways, elevator and such are dated

    Parking is available for a charge Elevator is available but spend 10+ mins waiting for it. No vanity kit, no extra bathroom items even if 2-3 people are staying. Ideally in other 2/3/4 stars hotels they keep more based on the number of people staying but here it wasn't that way.
