Stanyan Park Hotel

Older hotel, so it did not have air-conditioning. During our trip it was pretty overcast and chilly, but our bedroom got very hot during the night. We had to use multiple portable fans. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got the one bedroom suite, perfect amount of room for our family of four.

Ideal location for visiting golden gate park museums and the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. The evening wine socials were an incredible touch.

Close to Ucsf hospital where I was having my surgery There was no microwave in the room. The room seemed quite small with the queen bed.

We stayed in one of the suites for a few days. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean, but the building, walls, doors, windows and carpet need some upgrades. The hotel is in a great location where you can walk safely to parks, stores and restaurants. The free breakfast and wines hour were great.

Great location and very well-kept property. Efficiently staff. Reasonably priced parking lot across the street. Proximity to Golden Gate Park. Street-facing rooms can be a little noisy, but closing the windows pretty much eliminates that problem.

I love the view of Golden Gate Park and the wonderful breakfast room decorated with posters from bands of SF's psychedelic period.

Hotel was clean and nicely decorated. Clean room with comfy bed. Breakfast was just ok. Good location and close to restaurants. Will return.

This hotel is a charming landmark, renovated old hotel in a location that is very convenient to eighth Street and Golden Gate Park. It is well appointed, with clean, comfortable rooms and has a period charm. The staff is very accommodating. There is a dining room where a better than average breakfast is available every morning and you can bring your own food and eat there. It is very pleasant and well lit. The breakfast are generous and there are snacks available all day. I highly recommend it.

Good locating to UCSF Parnassus Hospital, extended stay, walking distance 1/2 mile, Whole Foods 1 block, laundrymat 1 block, restaraunts etc close by.

Room was great - comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was just ok, although coffee was good and the scrambled eggs were appreciated.

The location was perfect for our need to be close to UCSF Transplant Center. We were able to walk back and forth daily and found a Whole Foods Market and laundromat within 2 blocks. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the breakfast had a great variety of items each morning.

Great place. I would recommend this place, if you want a fabulous place.
