Surf Motel

The location and neighborhood is fantastic. Some repairs and updates couldn’t hurt.

The location. The key cards kept deactivating easily.

Muy sucia la habitación, necesita remodelar todooooooooooo , pintura limpieza d los asientos el linen malísimo con quemaduras de cigarro manchado , las toallas horrible no lo recomiendo muy sucio

Shower did not work it was are at. Motel staff said it was good enough to shower with but it wasn’t. Cigarette butt and dust it der he bed. No coffee maker in the room. Greasy microwave in the room. Ce bucket and glasses stored on shelf in bathroom. Hear for the room m was a space heater. Cigarette burns on comforter. Smoking rooms have a hidden room freshener purchase. Hidden room deposit upon arrival. Car parking rules or they will tow your car.

location bed sheets were dirty , smoking room was given when booking was for non smoking room , strong bleach smell resulted in migraine headache , we asked motel manager to give some other room he refused , we vacated motel in 4 hrs of check in

It was ok for a budget hotel

It's in a great location The rooms were really dirty and unkempt. Holes in the wall, scorch marks on the bedsheets, smelled like cigarettes no matter how much I aired it out, lots of rust and dirt on the bathroom door and wall. It was genuinely a super depressing room.

Good location, low price Lots of deferred housekeeping and maintenance needed.

Rather not stay there again

The property could do with some updating on the outside. The rims themselves weren't that bad. There was rust on the lights which I'm assuming is probably due to the air as is very close to the Bay. I had a very hard time using the card to unlock the door. Other than that it wasn't a bad stay. Very minimal parking but I was able to find parking

The staff was frie

The comfortable bed and the shower with a nice hot stream, as well as the location close to the Presidio, Crissy Field, and the Golden Gate. I could overlook the worn‑out furnishings, but not the fact that I found fecal residue in the toilet, lots of hair of all kinds on the bathroom floor, and stains on the towels before using them.

The room wasn’t quite what I expected compared to the booking photo. The room had the appearance of being clean but a close inspection revealed many areas that needed more cleaning.

These hotels/motels are like a dating app…the pictures rarely match the advertised merchandise.

You're getting what you pay for here. It's location is probably it's best feature, The room seemed clean regarding floors and bathroom, and was a good size. But the room was in much need of new furniture and a coat, or two, of paint. There was a chair that looked like it might have been comfortable but had a stain on it and upon closer look, seemed dirty. A side table was chipped. Paint was chipping. There was a hole in the bathroom door that someone maybe tried to patch, but gave up. The bedding looked clean, but the comforter had some stains on it. Luckily I had brought a sleep sac. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Overall, it just needs a little. or maybe a big refresher. everything just seemed tired and used. It worked well for me because I was just using it overnight and out early in the morning. If I had to be there longer and would be spending more time in my room, I'd probably look elsewhere.

Parking good. Staff friendly. The ADA bathroom shower was non existent and the fridge froze things.

Okay place.

it was in a nice safe centrally located part of the city there were a couple of very worn or broken items in the room. couldn't figure out how to make the cable tv work.
