Had a great stay at the 17hundred90 Inn. Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating and walking around with "Grumpy" is a (pleasent) experience in itself! This hotel is close to everything so its always a short walk to where you want to go. Little disappointed we didn't see any ghost but we will try again next visit!

We stayed for 4 nights at this lovely historic inn. If you like new and fresh this is NOT the place for you. If you like charming, warm and riddled with history this IS the place for you. First impression was very welcoming first by Chris the innkeeper on duty when we arrived. Next we met grumpy. I personally adored him!! He was charming and a southern gentleman. He explained the ins and outs of the inn and took us to our room. Our room was a good size. My husband has said several times that the bed is the best we have experienced even considering larger hotel chains. The bath towels were also exceptionally very thick and luxurious. The room was that of a typical aged hotel. Hello the hotel is over 200 years old. I loved the poster bed, the fireplace and furnishings. We stayed in room 101 which was amazing as it was right by the exit door so almost like we had a private entrance. What made it even more special is that our room is right above the dining room which means we could hear this lovely live piano music which created a romantic atmosphere just adding to our experience. We had dinner reservations at another restaurant but changed them last minute and ate in the 17 hundred 90 restaurant. The food was incredible!! My husband had a rack of lamb and I the rib eye. The restaurant itself is cozy and romantic with old Savannah charm. And speaking of charm our waiter Scott was attentive and a true pleasure. We enjoyed a relaxing evening surrounded by live piano music

Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful. See photos. The only down side was that during our June trip the room seemed very damp and a bit musty. A dehumidifier may be useful.

Liked the "old Savannah" look and feel of the inn

Great location and beautiful historic property with lots of character. Staff were wonderful and bed, sheets and towels were nice quality. Got 2 free drink coupons and staff even helped us with free parking options. Bathroom could use updating but other that it was a very comfortable stay

This was a last minute booking on a whim to see Savannah's historic district for the first time. Great location. Free parking for guests. You can walk to everything close by within minutes. Amazing food in the restaurant. (Book your reservation as soon as you arrive) Great bar atmosphere and they will serve the full dinner menu if you can't get a table. Room did not disappoint, even though we had to climb 3 flights of stairs. (We were lucky they had a room so no complaints here.) Thank you to everyone for your hospitality. Yes, even "Grumpy" was accommodating and a lot more pleasant than his nickname.

This was a great location, close to the old distract near everything. The Inn is basically few old houses blended together to form the building with the restaurant downstairs. I did not get a chance to eat there, but it had great reviews. Parking is available for the visitors, which was great. However, I arrived very late one evening and all the spaces were taken. Still, it wasn't bad, there was plenty of parking along the street in front of the Inn. The only thing I would just comment, it isn't a complaint really, the room needs a little paint and upkeep. There were scrapes on the walls, clearly from furniture movement. Basically cosmetic, not structurally. The area on the ceiling where the a/c is located, cracked and a little stained. Other than that, the room was clean. I expected old musty smell, given the age of the building and uneven floors, but no, it was clean. The room was a nice size, comfortable, and cozy. It was a nice stay for the long weekend stay. The host gave me a little tour prior to checking in and provided useful information. I felt at home and comfortable. I would stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay. The location is phenomenal! Lots of restaurants, shops, and beautiful park squares. I felt very safe day or night, no issues! My room was very private and I felt like a local renting part of townhouse in the area. The room 307, was decorated with queen-sized Victorian Eastlake bed frame, Eastlake dresser w mirror, Antique wardrobe, and gorgeous glass chandelier. Mattress was firmer than I like, but I slept very well for the 3 nights there. The establishment is well managed. The owner meets with each guest, gives them a tour, and makes sure they are settled in. The staff are very accommodating and pleasant. I would definitely book again!

A clean , comfortable hotel within walking distance to most everything in historic savanna

My wife loved the tub, and I used the shower. The parlor on our floor was private to us, and we used it a lot. All of this in an absolutely perfect location. And the manager was a delight as well.

Enjoy their freshly updated bathrooms and soak in the Old Southern charm that sets them apart. Each themed room adds a unique, charming touch to your stay.

Hotel is in middle of town, which made everything in walking distance. The room was gorgeous. we thought the ac wasn’t working and left a message with the front desk but they never responded. Room never got over 72 so it was ok. Grumpy (he was actually very pleasant) showed us around. He helped us park because the streets weee definitely not made with a full size SUV in mind! The restaurant was amazing.

Great spot in the historic district! The staff was very welcoming and helpful! Room 106 still has a high bed (could be an issue for some but we loved it) with a super comfortable mattress! That along with the room being an interior one (no windows) made it easy to slip into vacation mode and sleep in. This is an old building, so if you’re looking for modern and contemporary you should look elsewhere, but if you enjoy character and cool historical vibe, this is the place…
