Our only complaint was breakfast. We've stayed at a lot of B and B's; typically, the breakfasts are first rate. Here, it was what you'd anticipate at a motel that offers free breakfast. In short, it was lame. Still, the location, the courtyard and the staff were terrific.

Exceptional Bed and Breakfast! Great staff. Terrific historical facility!

Love this place, the cheese and wine hour was amazing, love the location. Found the room needs a bit of an upgrade and I hated the parking situation. But overall I would recommend this place and I will stay here again

Everything was great!!

The staff was amazing and went out of their way to take care . of us even though we came late to the wine tasting. The attention to detail was amazing in maintaining the beautiful southern architecture including garden fountains and Louisiana style wrought iron

Charming property. Was in one of the best neighborhoods and a short walk to Forsyth Park and Mrs. Wilkes' Dining Room. Short Uber ride or 20-min walk to Broughton and River Sts, through some lovely squares. The staff was very helpful, especially Jennifer who was welcoming and made several good recommendations. It is an inn, so you don't get the amenities of a full resort (one shouldn't expect to), but you do get everything they promise (cocktail hour wine and dessert later). The continental breakfast is pretty basic and on a small scale, but the chef's breakfast (included) is prepared fresh that morning. AC worked, TV worked, beds were comfortable and they provided robes. And they came in to clean and provide fresh towels without being asked.

Location is perfect---right on "the prettiest street in America" in the center of the Historic District. The staff is very helpful and accommodating; they contacted a tour we had booked and arranged for a pick up. Delicious cooked breakfast every day, wine and appetizers every afternoon, and desserts in the evening.

The property is conveniently located in an ideal location centrally to many walkable attractions. It is on one of the most beautiful streets in the historic area. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The courtyard was a relaxing retreat throughout the day. The hotel was offering breakfast that was creative and delicious. They also offered an evening wine and cheese social which provided an opportunity to meet with others staying at the property. I would definitely recommend staying at the Eliza Thompson house for your stay in Savannah.

Clean room, excellent host, beautiful courtyard, and location, close to everything, including the parks and restaurants Parking. Difficult as you had to park on the street and move your car because they periodically sweep the streets. This isn’t so much an issue of the residence we stayed at but Savannah in general.

Location was amazing and bed was very comfortable. Nice complimentary wine and cheese. Good breakfast.
