Quality Inn & Suites South Bend Airport

This was a most unpleasant hotel. The smell throughout the hotel was awful, and the room was almost unbearable. Due to flight delays, we arrived very late, which precluded us from going to a different hotel. The towels were stained, the bedding had cigarette burns and, sadly, the staff was not helpful.

Additionally, the room and laundry did not appear to have been properly cleaned, which raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. Pool out of order for extended period of time. Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying here and would advise others to consider other accommodations. WORST HOTEL EVER!! Do not stay!!

We were made to leave because I refused to pay an additional 30$ for a reservation made through your site they wanted me to pay for being there from 11am-3pm although I had been there for 5 days. They charged me $--- for one night the day before this.

The front desk something like that. That woman is so disrespectful and rude. She acts like you’re nobody. So rude and disrespectful. You’ll feel like giving her a slap ??!!

The pool was out of order. I booked my reservation 8 months prior and was told my reservation was canceled 3 days prior to my stay when I was checking in. I was not notified. The younger lady who was there was very rude. They did end up giving me a room but it was a downgrade from what I had purchased and a smoking room which smelled horrible.

the shuttle driver from the airport was in a rush and drove like CRAZY - 65mph in 35mph zone. The hotel lobby smelled strongly of weed. Internet down, pool closed, no return transfer to airport - they had a staff meeting and nobody was available to drive

A lot of things. Showers were broken. Had to switch rooms because of it. Keycards failed half the time so I needed to master key to get into the room. Breakfast was mediocre at best. overall felt low class.

The service was very good

There was no body at the desk, majority of the time. The elevator was broken. The pool was closed. Which is one of the reasons we chose to stay there was to use the pool, but it was out of service. And the entire hotel smelled of weed when we went to check out there was no one at the desk. We rang the bell a couple times and no one came. Finally I just put my room cards by the computer and walked out.

There was foul odor in the hallway. The elevator did not work. The shower only had one stream coming out of the head.

We did not get the room we had requested and needed. The alternate room was not adequate, hotel was dirty, towel bar was falling off the wall, and staff wasn’t helpful. We had to leave and could not even stay.

Worst experience in my life.....sheets were not clean with stains all over them. Bathroom door had no knob to get in or out. Smoke detector was missing. We were greeted upon arrival by what appeared to be a severely impaired homeless woman who was wearing no shoes out in the snow. She later appeared on the second floor and begged us to borrow our phone. We woke up at 6:30am to an overwhelming smell of marijuana that permeated the room.

Room reached like weed every day and the room cleaners would take all your towels every day and not replace them.

Staff accidentally gave my room to wrong guest but we didn’t know until I got into room. Did remedy but it to 20 minutes

The property is in need of a serious update/renovation. It was fine for a night, but we wouldn’t stay again. Not in the best part of town either. The whole area in general, but especially the hotel reaked of pot. Modern day problem, I know, but I personally don't want to smell it. Our towels I’m sure were clean, but they were stained. Just needed some help.

Pool was closed, this was the whole reason we picked here. No discount was given. Kids were so disappointed. Room was not clean, dusty, musty, and no lock on the door! A tissue in the peep hole!

The staff was very nice and helpful. The downside of the stay was that the breakfast provided had some issues with the pancakes and gravy that was provided. Both the pancakes and gravy were sour. We don't know of it was because of the preparation of the batter or that they had spoiled prior to serving. Either way, we could not eat those items, however the rest of the eggs and other items were ok. Additionally, the pool was not available to use and has been under repair since January 2024.
