The Saint Hotel

This hotel had a lot of character, amazing amenities, and incredible staff. We had a truly wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

Clean, comfortable room. Nice pool and Tiki bar. Quiet, walkable area but close to beach, restaurants, bars. Spacious parking area.

Provided beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, etc. super helpful!

If you’re assigned Room 5 or 24, be prepared. Both rooms are extremely small and located right next to the ice machine. Room 5 is especially problematic because it’s on the ground floor beside the supply closet, which staff access around the clock. Every time someone opens the supply door, it slams against your room door. You’ll also hear guests using the ice machine, plus the sound of ice being made every 30 minutes at all hours during the day/night. Noise was a major issue overall. We had guests upstairs walking around in heels for over an hour at 11 p.m., and it ended up being some of the worst sleep I’ve ever had while traveling. I raised my concerns and even asked about canceling the remaining two nights. Since on-site staff are only available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., I had to text and wait about an hour for a response. The hotel wouldn’t allow a refund because of its policy, but they did upgrade us to a top-floor suite. It was somewhat better, but still not what I’d expect for the price. The second room AC split ac also had issues. Without the upgrade, this would have been a 1/5 review. Since Randy at least made an effort to improve our stay, I’m giving it a 2/5. The hospitality was amazing as well as the amenities!! Shout out to Randy for the friendly greeting and help during our stay. They provide beach towels and beach carts with chairs and umbrellas so no need to bring your own!! Great location by the beach and delicious restaurants.

Tiki never had a bar tender all weekend long. Had to go to upstairs bar, dry off first, to get each drink. :(

We have been to Saint Pete Beach several times, but this is the first time we stayed at the hotel. It sure won’t be our last! Randy is an extra special host, helping us make the most of our stay! Located 2 blocks to the beach and 2 blocks to restaurants, nightlife and shopping, it is in an excellent spot! We appreciated the wagons, towels, coolers and chairs for all our beach needs. Make sure you indulge in Randy’s homemade lemonade, especially refreshing after a long day at the beach! The environment is festive without being a huge party scene. The hotel was sold out for the holiday weekend. Even with maximum occupancy, sleeping at night was quiet and peaceful. The Saint Hotel is an amazing place to hang your hat while enjoying everything SPB has to offer! Thank you again, Randy, for making our stay extra special.

Location and the access to beach equipment to take away with you on days out. There wasn’t anywhere to unpack clothes, the floors were really dirty, the towels didn’t get replaced and reception was only open at certain times. The pool has inflatables in it but they are really dirty from just sitting in the water. We went in May and some Christmas decorations were still up. The showers only gave you enough hot-water for a 5 minute showers mean one of us has to have a cold shower. Expensive for a disappointing result. The price difference match the property.

Location is great, the restaurant in the property is great too. Standard room which we reserved was absolutely bad. Zero natural light in the room. No closet to keep your clothes. The whole reason for us to book this room was the kitchenette. But it was basically useless, as they do not keep pots and basic things like salt and pepper in the room!!. They claim pots can be taken from common room, but in the 6 days we stayed there, no pots were there. I do not understand why this property has such high rating to begin with.

Great stay! Such a cute boutique hotel and a pretty close walk to the beach. Staff are very helpful and hospitable. Would stay here again!
