Great place to stay for any length of time. Beautiful area, user friendly location, lots of fun activities, delish food and friendly helpful staff.

What a disappointment. Took husband for a birthday celebration weekend. The check in was stress full since EXPEDIA and hotel had a written policy stating an email would be sent for an online registration which was "REQUIRED". I tried calling the property directly 6 times over several days ahead of the trip and NO ONE ANSWERED. The EXPEDIA customer service tried to help me, and they also could not reach the property. It turned out it was not REQUIRED to do this and good thing because I NEVER GOT AN EMAIL. I checked in and told them what I had been stressing over, and the young gal was disinterested in this. Her comment about not answering phones was when they are busy checking in other guests, they don't answer phones. I asked her how anyone was every going to get help prior to a stay if no one was reachable. She didn't answer.... she really didn't care. Next issue was the age of this property. The pics on website make it look ALOT NICER than it really is. I had to dislocate my shoulder to get the door open after unlocking with digital key. The AC was working worth a crap. We entered the room and temp on thermostat read 79 degrees. We could not get it set any lower than 65 and ran the fan on high and had ceiling fan on but we could NEVER get the room comfortable. The parking was done via an app, not billed to your room. So first night we went out to eat and came back only to find NO PLACE TO PARK except in the Valet parking area due to volleyball tournament event. Really?

My main complaint is the $75 charge still pending on my credit card. I was told by the receptionist and a guest that this charge was a temporary charge and would come off my bill in a couple of days. Well its one week later and its still there. Please remove this charge.

We couldn’t even open our door it was so bad. Smelt awful. Low tide didn’t reach near the hotel.
-
Good location, beachfront was good except for sea weed
-
A bit dated room
-
Love the beach access.

These are scam people stay away from them, the options they give have dual options they can give you either or and the property will never help given you are booking from third party, the property folks are rude and not helpful. Stay away, also not a 4-star it’s a 2star motel. Doors don’t close, bathroom had water issues.

The door to our room was falling apart and it had to be slammed very hard to lock. It kinda looked like it had been kicked open. The house keeping didn't give us replacement coffee pods or cups and there was no coffee or refreshments available in the lobby and on the 2nd day and a dirty towel was left on the bathroom floor. I would not stay here again for a fraction of the price.

The property's location is perfect; it is a renovated motel. The bathrooms are old, feature bathtubs, and need attention. The room entrance doors are damaged—you have to push hard to open them. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a woman with a bad attitude; the staff is not friendly. The hotel lobby is nice, as are the common areas, but the beach area is tiny.

There are a few areas that could be improved. The Wi-Fi was unreliable in the rooms and around the property. Additional ice machines on the first and upper floors of the marina-side building would be very helpful. For boaters, marina services were limited during our stay. The Dockmaster was not available every day, and there was no marina store or dockside service for essentials such as ice, fuel, drinks, or boating supplies. We were also disappointed that overnight parking required an additional fee for resort guests. This added cost was unexpected and detracted from the overall experience. Weekdays were very quiet, with limited activities available, and the bar closed at 9:00 PM. Most of the entertainment and live music seemed to take place only on weekends. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would maybe return. With improvements to Wi-Fi, marina services, guest parking, and weekday activities, SkyBeach Resort could provide an even better experience.

fun property, outdoor areas and dining areas were great! bathrooms need updating but were clean. friendly, helpful staff!

This location is convenient to the highway, for an overnight stay and dinner with our grandson who lives in town. We’ve stayed here before, the price is right, balanced with easy parking, the space and comfort of the room, and onsite bar. For someone staying longer, I think I could recommend for the pool (which looks lovely), and activities available. Staff are friendly, property is clean and has been improved recently, again, a good balance for the money. Restaurant is a bit over-priced (IMO), but service and food were good.

This property is outdated, needs a lot of maintenance as their were many issues that need addressing. Door was very difficult to close, paint chipping in room, just overly worn out property reminded me of a lower tier resort. Their was a weird odor around the property from the water making it difficult to want to relax on their beach.

Very nice place to relax and get away.

This resort was fine, but not what it is portrayed to be online. The “beach” is a small strip of sand, covered in seaweed, on a small, dirty, roped off section of the water. Very disappointing. The bar/restaurant is overpriced and the food is mediocre at best. They charge $18 a day to park in their own lot! Both ice machines were broken the last 2 days of our stay. I will say, however, that the rooms are clean and the pools are great. I would not stay there again.

This is my third day at the property. We had a little hiccup at the beginning of our trip, but was corrected. We had an upgraded room that was very beautiful.
-
The property is beautiful I felt like I was in a tropical paradise. You never have to leave because there’s plenty of stuff to keep you occupied there. But if you care to check out the surrounding areas of St Pete and Tampa it’s easy to get there

The bed was very nice. The water in the shower was either scalding hot or ice cold so unable to have a nice warm shower. Electrical outlets would not work on the bedside tables.

It was run down but it was in a great location.
