I am leaving this review to formally report a highly alarming and unacceptable check-in experience that occurred at your property around midnight a couple of weeks ago. I arrived with a prepaid Booking.com reservation and my confirmation email ready. The lobby was completely empty with only one night auditor on duty (who later stated his name was something sounding like "Truck," "Trug," or "Doug"). After handing over my details, the agent spent over 10 minutes silently looking at his screen just to locate the booking. When I politely asked if he could walk us through what was causing the delay, he immediately became defensive, stating, "I am trying to find the booking, I don't know why you are getting frustrated." I simply replied that it shouldn't take this much time just to pull up a prepaid reservation. Instead of explaining the system delay, the employee became overtly hostile. He reclined back in his chair, raised his voice, and actually shouted at me, "I can take as much time as I'd like!" He then continued to antagonize us, aggressively asking if it looked like he was doing something else and threateningly asking if we wanted him to continue working on it or not. Because it was late at night, the lobby was deserted, and we were completely reliant on this individual to get to our room, his aggressive outburst made both me and my female companion feel genuinely unsafe. A front desk agent is supposed to secure the building and welcome guests, not use their position to intimidate people and go on a power trip. This behavior is a serious liability for your hotel. I strongly advise management to review the security and audio footage from the late-night shift. Please reach out to me directly to get my exact reservation details and dates. I am more than willing to assist with your internal investigation into this employee.

Watch out, they hit you with a ton of extra fees including parking ... parking??? That is ridiculous!!!

Everything is amazing after check in. The front desk did not explain anything. Luckily I had already been there before and knew about parking and the cleaning fee $250 hold, but when I went to check in he took forever and told me it’s bc I prepaid and I just made the reservation. Making me seem like I made his life harder. I apologized, no idea why I did, but he was like it’s ok still making it my fault. It’s fine, I could tell he didn’t do his end of the job when I booked it and I know I gave enough time for him to make that reservation. I let it go but I came to this specific hotel bc of how quiet and nice it is but his whole introduction to my two day stay just put the first impression on a new low standard when my last check in last time the guy was great!

The property was very well maintained - the outside pool and shared spaces were fabulous, lots of seating within a beautifully maintained garden area, and the outdoor games area was set up nicely. The daily breakfast was great - ot included varied hot items everyday and was kept super clean and constantly replenished by the attentive and friendly staff. Our suite was spacious and very clean as well - we really enjoyed our stay here.
