Motel Torrey

We had a large clean room. The bathroom was good and very clean as well. As far as amenities, there is an ice machine. No pool, which wasn’t a problem for us, but might be for others. Close to restaurants and activities for Capital Reef.

Really the main issue was it took so long to get a light changed.

This place exceeded my expectations! It was very clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed in the room, and we had a great view from our porch. I would stay here again on a heart beat!

The room was the cleanest ever, so I loved it. But I was a bit sad because there was no hot spa and no breakfast.

Decent hotel. Our room was next to ice machine room and laundry for cleaning, so it got loud at times. Found beds to be too firm and pillows too high. No conditioner and no bar soap. Appreciate them avoiding waste associated with toiletry bottles though. Bathtub needed caulking replaced. Light fixtures could be replaced as well. Appreciated the easy check-in checkout. Easy to park next to room. Convenient microwave and fridge. Did not have enough coffee or coffee creamer but tons of sugar. Quiet location and responsive staff when needed.

This is a well-maintained property in a wonderful location. We enjoyed eating our breakfast (muffins) in the chairs just outside our room, while enjoying the view. Although we were only a few feet from the highway, traffic was always light and we rarely noticed it. Finding a local place to eat might be a problem. Torrey is a tiny pocket of homes and businesses in an otherwise remote area.

Had a nice comfortable 2 night stay. Lovely clean room with plenty of towels. Bed's comfortable and all the amenities. Access a bit difficult if from abroad as no american phone to get codes. But managed by ringing up from previous hotel before we left. In case any one from abroad needs to know. Would stay again.

Location was great for Capitol Reef. Clean and spacious room (2 queens). Easy entry to room with code. Retro motel feel due to layout of hotel - easy to park right in front of room. Some good restaurants close by.

I know they are not set up for breakfast, so I feel the price could have been a little lower to account for that. It is an older establishment but has been updated and was very clean.

The check-in. Being in the park all day there is no cell service. When we left the park we went straight to the motel and we were surprised to find no staff on site but there was a sign that said call with any questions and provided a number. However, when I called the woman sounded very annoyed that I called instead of searching my emails for a notice from our booking agent. After berating me that I should have looked up an email, she quickly rattled off the room number and door code. As I repeated the info in order to remember it, she again berated me that I can just check the email. There was certainly a nicer was to treat a paying guest. Also, the walls are paper thin. Heard our next door neighbor's conversation loud and clear at 6:00 a.m.

No breakfast at this hotel but microwave and small refrigerator to use..very clean efficient hotel but you will hear noise from other guests next to you..everyone quiet after 10pm though so all good..showers very strong
