Great hotel and location. No need to drive much.

They had some repairs going on during our stay but great view from our room and overall a clean place to stay.

Loved the location! Pools are wonderful!

The location is great and it is convenient to have such goal access to Beach traveling with children. Pools were a lot of fun but could be cleaner. Hotel room did not get cleaned despite my requests. Vacuum request finally completed but half done. Very hard to keep up with garbage with tiny trash cans. Was hoping for garbage, towels, and coffee to be replenished, but was inconsistent.Laundry is free, but they were out of soap to purchase. Breakfast buffet was worth it with kids, but service is lacking in the restaurants. Movies theater was cool. The price was decent for oceanfront, but you pay what you get - it was just okay.

It's a nice hotel but they need to take care of the amenities and other details

Convenience to beach

We got a newly renovated room. Ground floor, right in the beach Reservation with booking.com included breakfast. But on arrival they only provided us with 2 vouchers per day (we had 5 people). Breakfast was no more than a regular continental breakfast that would usually be included in any hotel stay. The hotel charges 20$ per person for an unexceptional meal. Bathroom was small and cramped. Sliding door to patio was extremely difficult to open and close and took 2 people to lock.

We arrived 45 minutes prior to the 4 pm check in. We sat in the lobby until almost 6 pm before we finally got a room. The lobby was packed with families checking in and having to wait as well. At check in, I was informed that there was a $10 a day parking fee. And also a $40 a day room damage deposit, which came to $160. That was charged to my credit card at check in. The hallways were very hot. The carpet in my room was wore and tore. The whole decor was just old fashioned looking. House keeping only dropped off towels and never once offered to clean the room or make beds. The sliding glass door was very hard to open and close. Maintenance came and claimed it was fixed but it wasn’t. Trash and dirty towels remained in the hallway overnight until the next morning. The elevators were hot and slow. Now let’s talk about the pools. The pools were very dirty. You could just see everything floating on top. We didn’t go into the pools, only the lazy river which I took the net and skimmed the bottom and top trying to get leaves, bugs and hair out. I didn’t feel clean being in it at all. The indoor pool couldn’t be enjoyed because it was stifling hot and heat just smacks you in the face when you open the door. It was nice that movies were shown throughout the day. However, it would have been nice to have a 9 pm movie for the adults. The fresh popcorn was good and the butter was a delight! Breakfast buffet needs more of a variety. Being on the 6th floor, was hot!

Loved the location if you want to be away from downtown. Beach was not as crowded. Breakfast was great. Ice machines did not work on our floor or the one below us. Elevator to go to the 7th floor which we requested is only 1 available and is sooo slow. Parking garage was across the road and difficult to park on a busy weekend.

We had terrible first day. AC not working. Contacted staff 4 times before we were told it couldn’t be fixed. Then front desk called at 10:30pm to ask if we wanted to switch rooms, but my children were already asleep. Bedding for pull out bed not in room and had to be requested. Paid for parking and zero spots available. Overflow was full as well. The restaurant attached used the ramp for valet. Saw cars doubled parked in ramp. Elevator broke during stay and wasn’t fixed promptly. Guests and staff used the same elevator causing delays the whole stay. New room was decent. Pools were decent. Do not recommend and will not visit again.

The area was very nice and quiet. The North end of the beach is very clean and great for small children. The pools were wonderful.

Love the pools and the quit staying at this hotel This year the hotel was very disappointing we’ve stay here last years with no complaints this year WiFi didn’t work in rooms switched rooms and still didn’t work wall paper was coming off walls couldn’t get clean room towels until 5pm just wasn’t worth the new charge to stay here

Hotel itself seemed clean, pools were not well maintained and very dirty. Stayed last year and the year before, the pools were in much better shape then. This year the pool floor was broken apart and they never vacuumed it once the entire stay. Hope they fix those issues, definitely a hazard with a broken pool floor.

We love staying here! The staff is very nice and the rooms are always spacious and comfortable! The indoor pool needs major work. It was not clean and the waterfalls that they use to have no longer work

Exceptional

Room was clean and location was great! There wasn’t enough parking in the garage and had to use the local 711 at times yet we got charged $10 a day for parking. The pool was never vacuumed in the 4 days we were there. They just pushed the sand into the corners. The AC broke and we woke up on a very humid morning to 80 degrees room. They did have it fixed fast. However, they were having a lot of AC problems. The hallways did not have AC and would reach extremely high temps. We were just told it was broken. Our room was never serviced and I needed to call for more towels and to take garbage out. They were quick to respond which we did appreciate! The bathrooms were exceptionally small and had very weird double doors that opened into the bathroom leaving so much less space. This was one of the more expensive hotels it was not worth the price.

Exceptional

There was an abundance of things to do for our children while there, from the kids kamp to the pools. The suite was very spacious and the layout was great with a huge bathroom!! The staff were very accommodating and helpful throughout our whole stay. They went above and beyond for us with anything we needed, just can’t say enough good things about them! The location worked very well for us, having our small grandchildren with us the beach wasn’t as crowded at the north end and they were able to truly enjoy playing in the sand. Traffic wasn’t bad either on this end of the beach and there is a convenience store right across from the hotel. This will be our new go to spot every year!!
