Spark by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

The bed was very comfortable and I loved the balcony view. However, the room was extremely small where we could not walk to the windows without squeezing past the foot of the bed and the dresser and desk table.

Loved the room,beds,pool,ocean view. The older lady whom I was told her name was Nikki was VERY RUDE! There was no reason for her to act the way she did. However everyone ad everything else was great. Th breakfast options could be better as well.

Wonderful location, but the team is the brightest point of this hotel

First, the person at the front desk must really hate her job! Stood there for five minutes or more while she had her butt high in the air leaned over the desk talking to another employee. Didn’t even acknowledge I was there until the other employee looked at this certain front desk employee and said “I think she needs help.” With that, she huffed, puffed and blew the house down with a “do you need some help?” I’m thinking, would I be standing here if I wasn’t? Room was nasty, chairs on balcony was so rusty, we were afraid to sit on them. Pics on Expedia was false advertisement. Being called part of the Hilton was a disgrace

Room was semi clean, just lots of sand on the floor. One of the two elevators was out. We used to the stairs to go down every time due to the long wait to use the elevator. Very small luggage carts and not many. No microwaves in room, but there’s one in the lobby and outside the breakfast room - very old and takes a long time to reheat. Overall was ok but won’t stay here again.

It could have definitely been cleaner. Trash behind the beds and the bathtub doesn’t drain properly due to what looked like hair and dirt and lent. Also, the windows were very dirty.

Room was nice everything was clean and fresh only one thing I didn't like it there was not a hot Breakfast bar ..very disappointed other than that it was actually a Good Hotel

1. We asked for the fridge to be fix day 1, never attending to by staff 2. Had reservations for a room at 4pm, my wife and I were late arriving but the room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 630. We changed room, which was good on their part. However, no one added this to my account and for the next few days we had staff coming into our room to see if this room wasn’t occupied. 3. Continental breakfast..? Muffins + cereal 4. Elevators were a lowkey death trap I rated this property a 2 out of 5.

The facilities are in need of a major upgrade and upkeep. Air condition was effective but loud, which made it hard to sleep. The temperature had to be set below 68 in order for the room to feel comfortable. The room was not as cleanly as possible. The furniture on the patio was rusted over. The bathroom, was not as clean. The stairwells and hallway were dirty. The elevator looked like it was on its last leg.They did not have many options for the continental breakfast, things that were advertised in the breakfast area were not available. Some staff members were very helpful. There was a worker at the front desk that resolved by our parking fee issue and was very helpful and kind. Others were rude, for example, there was a there was a bird trapped in one of the stairwells when I informed the employee they did nothing about it. I had to go open the door to let it out. When asked to reactivate a room key card. Their demeanor was as if we were inconveniencing them. There was a major discrepancy with the parking. Expedia site listed it as free self parking included when we arrived at the hotel they informed us that parking would be $15 a day, and that Expedia misled us.

Everything was good

We were lucky to get a Very helpful front desk attendant. The other one was rude but the wonderful woman who helped us was. Pleasant, helpful and good at her job. Property over all is nice and clean.

It was filthy. The breakfast was gross and the only protein they had available was tiny bird eggs, boiled not sanitary at all. The staff was very very mean. Staff was shitty hotel was dirty

The location is great and the staff was fantastic. The pool was great and we loved the poolside bar!! My issues are: no coffee maker in room? We had the bag for the ice bucket but no ice bucket. No clock in room? Several screws holding items to wall in bathroom were pulled out.

Premises relatively clean. Issues are balcony furniture totally rusty. Hair dryer cord was too short. Hallways need cleaning and vacuuming. Elevator need spruceing up. Staff very friendly, excellent view. A/C was fine

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I would definitely recommend it!!! We will be back !!

It was very clean and loved the view . But when I got there check in was very difficult. She couldn’t find my reservation even I gave my name and reservation confirmation number also showed the email . After 15 min late she said she spelled my name wrong ? My name is only 3 letters ? Then she charged me twice saying one didn’t go through ? But showed her my credit card on my phone
