Location and staff were great. That’s about it.

Spacious property with option for valet parking but have to pay extra for it

I had a disappointing experience during check-in (not with me but with watching another customer being poorly looked after), and things didn't really improve from there. There was particularly poor service in the evenings and nights, and getting the most basic of assistance was just way too hard. I had the sense the staff (particular one) are very unhappy. And I left thinking I probably wouldn't return.

However something note either the shampoo or body wash burned both my and my wife’s eyes. Must be something related to the lemon peel or fragrance in there

Surprised to see how spacious the rooms were. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. . Large bathrooms and shower was amazing. Nice balcony. Perfect location. Valet was quick, courteous and stress free. Staff were all welcoming and kind. Would stay here again!! No complaints

After decades of trying various hotels of all sorts across London, Hotel Madera is now my absolute go to for personal and business travel. It’s a lovely hotel with modern, spacious rooms and a very helpful staff. The location is an easy walk from the metro and the valet parking is reasonable. Nothing.

Loved this hotel! Helpful staff. Comfy beds. The free filtered water and ice was great. And the continental breakfast was yummy
-
Loved how spacious the rooms were. Everything was clean. But the size of the rooms was more than I expected. Nothing.
-
My preferred place to stay in West End. Staff is so kind and accommodating and neighborhood is walkable pretty and quiet. Only complaint is that there is no complimentary bottle of wine as advertised on hotels.com site

The property is nice and the hotel is clean when you come, I understand that when the do not disturb sign is on the door they don’t come in but they could knock to see if we need towels or change the sheets you know? Also when I misplaced my key to the room it took an hour to get someone to open the lobby door and get into my room, I called the hotel 15 times no answer nobody came to open the door until I started banging on the front door for 5 mins, that’s not ok when I’m spending so much money I should be able to get service right away this was my second time staying at this hotel I like it a lot and would love to come back again but these issues should be resolved The property is nice and the hotel is clean when you come, I understand that when the do not disturb sign is on the door they don’t come in but they could knock to see if we need towels or change the sheets you know?
