Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate

I am impressed by the toilet paper I have to say. I also appreciate the coffee maker in the room even though I don’t drink coffee, but it’s the details that matter. The blankets could be a bit warmer. I wish they served breakfast even if it was a continental, they do have the space as the mini store has been gone for a while now.

Bathroom floor was kinda dirty when we checked in. Hair everywhere. Blood stain on a hand towel. No hair dryer. Outlets by the bed didn’t work. You get what you paid for I guess. Didn’t spend much time in the room so we just dealt with it.

Great and silence

The room was clean, only problem was the watee pressure to our sink was really low, then when I asked the staff later in the night if they can have someone the next day come check it she got attitude with me and said why didnt I let them know sooner, which I would have but we were at Disneyland park all day so I was not able to. Then we have to pay for parking, I really suggest that they have the parking spot tied into the room so you make sure if your being charged to park in the lot, that you actually have a parking spot to park in.

The front desk person was rude and not welcoming AT ALL! Not only with me but with everyone that was coming in to the lobby. Also I was not told when I booked that there was a parking fee. The room was not clean it felt dinghy

Rented 3 rooms,ac 's didn't work properly in all rooms. One room had water back up in it was moved to another room water in bath tub drips ,small Gerber comodes..Needed cart to move luggage and I had to go look for it myself and wheels rubber coming off. I think that was the only cart they had. No shuttle to Disneyland had to order ubers..Sink water barley came on. Don't let online pictures fool you There were some staff members that were great I feel for them because they have to work there. I thought I got a good deal so I guess I got what I paid for. As a warning stay there at your own risk. I wouldn't recommend this motel.

Stayed here for a Disney vacation a few times now. For me, the price is worth it. I spend my time at the parks and the surrounding areas and just sleep at the hotel. Bed is comfy, its reasonably quiet even when my room was near the stairs, and there was enough room. The walk to the park is about 15-20 minutes and pretty simple. Located right off the freeway and close to the Garden Walk as well. Pool and hot tub looked clean and nice, although I did not use them. Room was clean and the air conditioning was nice. Staff were decent, but I wouldn't say amazing.

Hot tub worked well. Pool was clean. Room was clean and decent. Air conditioning worked great in the heat. Staff was courteous, all though they didn’t provide “do not disturb” signs so house keeping knocked on the door multiple times to see if we needed anything- which wasn’t bad but it happened when we were napping soooo ya know.

It was good for the price for a short stay. A little loud from outside noises.

Good place to crash after walking around Disneyland and California Adventure all day long.

There were also a few issues this time…the air conditioner was very noisy, something bit three of my grandchildren, and left them with welts, and worse of all was getting stuck in the outside elevator!!! My worse nightmare come true!! My whole group, which included my 4 young grandchildren, were stuck in the elevator and no one came to our rescue, we tried to use the call button which did not work, thank goodness the door finally opened on its own! Apparently we weren’t the only ones to experience the elevator malfunction! I don’t think we will be staying there again, unless some major improvements are made.

Was not bad for the price.

Clean room with air conditioning that kept the room cold (but couldn’t change the speed of the fan despite having buttons to do so). Front desk staff were helpful and kind when checking in.

The floors are filthy. There was stuff on the ground that got on my socks and feet. I told them last time I stayed that they needed to pay better attention to cleaning the floors and still had the same issue this time. I cleaned the floors the first night and the towel came away visibly dirty. So when the cleaning crew came in and “cleaned the room”, there was more stuff that came away from the floor. You can feel it with bare feet. Plus there was black hair in my shower. I have red hair and I solo traveled. The black hair came back again after some came in to “clean.” They also give you free parking or early check in if you scan a QR code to leave a favorable Google review.

Sorely disappointed. Soon after we checked in we saw a dead cockroach in the hallway (which was also filthy). Somehow we got a handicapped room which in itself wasn’t a big deal but there is just a stand alone sink with no counter top at all which made it very difficult to get ready in the bathroom. There was a huge “dent” in the wall in the bathroom that was poorly repaired. The floors in the bedroom had been repaired with packing tape. No lie. I will say that the beds were comfy enough but the price was WAY too high for the condition of the place. There are no water fountains at all on the property and a bottle of water in their little “market” was $8.50. Water was cheaper at Disneyland!! On top of that you have to pay $23 extra for parking each night. Needless to say this is not on our “stay here again” list.

God awful. Waste of money.
