There wasnt any fruit available and its hot out for the kids that games. I thought there would be more to choose from. The pool wasn’t available during this warm season

The room was perfect and clean. The only downside was the pool was closed for repairs-I wish they would have stated that on the website. The did offer use of the pool at their sister resort but it was a 7 minute drive away. Not a long distance, but more than you want to do after a long day sight seeing. Anyway, I still give the hotel 5 starts. The staff was very helpful and everything was clean.

Cockroaches in the room! We killed two cockroaches, asked the staff, came back from Disneyland 10 hours later the dead roaches were still on the floor. Worst customer service we have ever had. We have pictures for proof. Bathroom light flickers, tv in living space didn’t work, we asked for new sheets and towels, they never showed up. Toilet clogged twice. My wife stepped on one of the roaches in the middle of the night and she screamed and cried for hours. We discussed with the manager we want a full refund but he never told us anything, we’re expecting a full refund.

We stayed there for tonight and the carpet was full of hair pet hair and also they never pick up our trash room service was horrible. One of my least favorite places I ever stayed at.

The room set up, the staff, the access to the freeway. The laundry facilities with attached gym. The pancake machine was a hit with my teens. Fruit at breakfast would have made it better and old fashioned oats instead of instant.

All was well, we missed the pool.

We stayed there for a whole week and the day there was amazing super clean. The staff was super helpful.

Exceptional

It was relatively clean and spacious. Breakfast was terrible, staff seemed rushed and only gave us a sheet and a light blanket for the food out bed. When we asked for a full setting they gave us the same thing again. No pillows, so we had to share pillows from the main bed. I call r ahead of time to make sure the pool would be available since that is important to our family. They said it would absolutely be done by the time of our stay. When we got there we were informed that the pool was down and we could commute to another hotel to use their pool. This wasn’t a huge problem and I figured it would be a 5 minute walk or so since there were hotels all around. It was an 8 minute drive to the hotel that was providing the pool. If I had known this prior to checking in I would have cancelled and booked somewhere else.

The breakfast was good. The timing was also good and I like the location. Your staff are exceptional, especially the receptionist. All the way from Nigeria, they made myself and my wife very comfortable and they were all supportive. Property should have a dedicated taxi for assisting guests other than the use of Uber or lyft. I had some initial difficulties in getting started because I do not have a US line.

The stay was amazing. The staff were great. I originally booked at another hotel and it was cancelled. I was able to book here at the last minute. It worked out because I enjoyed staying here and it was close to Disneyland.

Construction/repairs are ongoing on the pool side. They started to use a jackhammer at 8AM! Inconvenient and no notice to guests about potential noise. Breakfast buffet was good, slight changes each day but no fruit, surprising for a hotel in Cali. No daily housekeeping, if you want housekeeping, you need to let them know the night before. Manager Chris was helpful when addressing issues and assisted with Expedia when we discovered there was no pool available to use. They informed they advised Expedia but, when I booked it was NOT updated. There was a staff member that was helpful when we arrived but, once Expedia contacted them I could sense a bit of resistance and passive aggressiveness - it made me feel uncomfortable as I said something and it was completely ignored. But again, maybe they were having an off day or was upset they were dealing with an issue that they apparently told Expedia about ( pool). Overall it is good for a family especially if you book the suite.

Huge suites for long stays

The location, the room was decent. The quick response of staff, when we needed more towels. There was a bad smell in the lobby; coming from the grounds outside. Possibly the wood chips. Breakfast: no fresh fruits or hot tea…a lack of pastries and the oatmeal was watery. The staff did not keep everything stocked.

Nice place to stay with family

Pool is closed for renovation or repair or something, but they did have a different hotel 10 minutes away that allowed you to use their pool and sonesta ES would reimburse your parking fee for the other location with the pool. Breakfast was good AC was nice and cold.

Everything was perfect. Cleanliness

The room was very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast served was hot and good. The pool and hot tub are under renovations, however The Anaheim Hotel was very beautiful and their pool and hot tub was perfect. You are initially charged for parking, however will be reimbursed if you present your receipt to the Sonesta staff.
